I was at this show and the thing that amazed me is how relaxed Clapton looks when he plays, meanwhile he is making the paint peel off the walls. Next to Hendrix, this man is the greatest guitarist in the world.
On a sidenote, on the night of this show, 2 guys were sitting 3 rows in front of us smoking dope. The usher asked them to stop and then left. They relit, and the usher came back and kicked them out before Clapton ever hit the stage. All they saw was Jimmy Ray Vaughn for their money lol.
It's Jimmie Lee Vaughan, to be correct. ;-)

@19CACTUS51 Have you heard much of Frank Zappa's guitar playing? He has done quite a lot for the guitar. Robert Fripp is just as insane too probably.
