  • some of those boys were like 12 and were struggling with 65 pounds......thats really bad lol, but the REALLY young kids are awesome!

  • @rasheedmendenhal Actually they are 15 KG bars, so about 33 lbs. And the weights range from 5KG to 10 KG each.

  • We are not powerlifting-- the technique we use involves pulling the weight as high as we can and then dropping under the bar. There is more risk of injury in a sport such as football or basketball then in weightlifting.

  • ....? why are they powerlifting so young? why not start around 14-15 to lessen chances of injury? why dont parents do smore research?

  • not reli, im an oly lifter and i do powerlifting, oly lifting is more quick,sudden rotations requiring utmost flexibility to perform.

  • well look at the chinese trainin gymnasts, der joints r unusually flexible. plus der joints wil only get stronger.
