Think that was the best exhaust sound video I have ever heard and watched a lot..that shit sounds fckn good..bad ass at the end fckn sold me on one..just dont like that gap between the bottom/side plastic ppiece and the muffler..wish this one was shaped like taylor made
@sundown1234 It really depends on the bike and how willing you are to stay on top of muffler repacking. V- twins and big singles are punishing on the muffler packing material. If you don't pay attention to periodic repacking then the carbon sleeve will discolor due to the heat. Inline fours and V- fours are very easy on the packing materials. But to answer your question about running a bike with a carbon canister on a dyno; place a blower or fan directed at the canister while the bike is dyno'ed
a lot of haters on here. its all good though. i got an 08 1000rr and an 07 600rr and the gp exhaust is way better than the undertail. less weight and a WAY better sound. AMAZING bike!!
u ride a 1000rr and u dont know ? wierd but anywayz, Fireblade was chosen as the bike's marketing name after being the project name in 1992 when the first CBR900RR (race replica) came out.
well its a brand new pipe they put on....... theres packing/manufacturing oil from inside the pipe that burns off when its new and hasnt been run THIS IS NORMAL !!
if you're talking about the square looking thing with the green LED light going back and forth, it's a Two Brother's Juice Box...it's like a powercommander, it regulates A/F ratios and things like that
yeah - and it always comes in underpowered, overweight and over priced compared to the rest (and with the usual horrible brakes/dash I might add)... but they make up for it in the rags by calling it confidence inspiring/stable - LAWL!!! - oops, almost forgot about the laughable DISNEY plastic work that's almost as bad as the Kawi 10
@BorrowedCactus wake up fool, yeah some of the other bikes SQUEEEEEZE every bit of HP out of their engines to make the numbers, take another look at TORQUE, this bike has the highest amount of tourque in the class, and that is what matters. manufactureres do things like extend stroke and do weird things to get every bit of HP out of the top end and loose all of the low end. this bike has power EVERYWHERE, when you compare to others, they have shortfalls.
Thank you! I am getting a 2009 in two days, and I have all my accessories picked out except for the pipe and fuel management system. I have a 2006 right now with a Jardine pipe and power commander, but I am open to try new things.
i gotta say the new body styles look badass although i did like the older ones, any honda after 95 looks pretty good to me. great tone too! hondas are the best sounding bikes for your buck
i know what u mean. I loved the 2007 models. The first kind with the exhaust under the seat. I felt in love with that one! And they are getting uglier.. Unlike the zx10r and gsxr1000 and the r1. They still have goodlooks. Even the 1098 duc
wow ive never thought anybody else liked the 2007's better than the new ones too. i love the undertail exhaust, for some reason the new motoGP ones just dont flow to me
i know what u mean. It's getting more rounder and future looking. Not those nice sharp curves etc! Thats why i love the 2008.2009 yamaha's suzuki's. Cause they didn't change that much and has a still nice sharp looking body. And for the motoGP it sux! Love 2003 till 2007 motors!
@Racso88e you're smokin crack, CBR is the best looking bike. R1 is huge, heavy, and hideous, GXXXXXXR has an ugly ass tail and weird funky beak nose. WAKE UP.
All you do is rev it up, do you even know how to ride this bike? Post videos with actual riding, who gives a shit about reving it up and just staring at it. This motorcycle deserves to be ridden not looked at.
Well, I finally bought the slip on. The thing sounds amazing! One thing that Two Bro' s definately has to do is, come up with somethin to cover the hole it has on the belly of the bike. Its horrible! I hope they can do something about it, like some other pipe companies out there. Other than that, I really like the pipe.
ya why couldnt they have left the exhaust under the tail. it looked so much better, and also got that gay ass license plate area that needs to be ripped off right away! What is that
Juice Box i seen on this bike up in the front cowling behind headlights?
Oh, i would've thought with it tucked under the tail in the center it would give better handling, i mean even though exhausts dont weigh all that much especially the little one on this bike, its still a weight on one side and not the other! owell, i would still rather have previous style to me it looks better!
i like how 2 bros are short but loud an give nice rubles just got one for my bike.should be here today but i gotta kawi.two bros i think is the best street bike pipe out there and the loudest.
everyone on the street is only going to think your a jackass if your riding like one. Secondly, At Laguna Seca, there are very very few exhaust that are allowed due to db levels.
i hope we wake the harley punks up at night in the summer!! when a hardley dangerous wakes me up it's like what the fuck!! but a sound like this sooths me!!!!lol chris boston mass.
To be honest, I don't know what exhaust to get yet. I really like the looks on the two Bros. But I hear that the Akrapovic is better. There is a very big price difference thou. Would it be worth it to pay more for the Akrapovic or what?
No. You don't "need" a juice box as much as you "need" an aftermarket exhaust system. But if you got the exhaust, the juice box will help your bike achieve a smoother power curve. I would like to know that as well. I just put one on with the juice box and it surges every start then after a minute goes to steady idle. The manufacturers say that it is due to a lack of backpressure during idle and has no effect on the performance, etc.
