  • kevin spacey doesn't age.

  • cena otima essa

  • Dead Man Walking is the best film about the capital punishment system in the US.

  • Utter tripe. Winslet, a otherwise wonderful actress, is just woeful in this. What a dreadful film, I just watched it.

  • i love this film, kate+kevin super great

  • even the trailer is confused

  • Good idea, great actors' performance. I just didn't get the sence of storyline of that student called Berlin. SPOILER - why she did it and then dissapeared, why they didn't try to find her, what ment that message on postcard, why he attached it to the money.... ??

  • @Lucifera1011 he sent the money to his wife and the card so his wife would klknow he was innocent

  • @shivanmohan1 Thanks!

  • @Lucifera1011 I think the purpose of Berlin's character is to spoil David's life, so that eventually he has nothing to lose. The postcard proves that he didn't rape her.

  • step 1: pause this video at 0:00

step 2: open another tab, search Mind Heist

step 3: mute this video and play the other

step 4: watch this video being epic

  • @Jeffreyuitalmelo talking about perfect!!

  • @Jeffreyuitalmelo What the fuck, man? How did u came up with this? This is so not a coincidence! By the way, perfect movie.

  • @Jeffreyuitalmelo Dude! That was EPIC!

  • It'll be great to see Kevin Spacey taking part in an action comedy movie.

  • is the best film i ever seen about death penalty

  • RIP for that guy who was executed now, he was probably innocent:(

  • TROY DAVIS, RIP.

State murders still go on in the USA

  • not forgetting that the movie and music industry are controlled by the ptb, this is like a warning not to oppose the death penalty

  • this movie is great, but it is sick that that troy davis' case is almost identical, and that is in real life. R.I.P. troy davis.

  • the reason why he got himself killed was because his life was ruined because of being fasley accused of rape previously. And the reason why the girl chose to kill herself wsa because she had cancer

  • One of the smartest films ever made that would really put you in the shoes of Winslet's shoes... One of the best films ive seen yet!

  • maybe death is a gift.

  • This is a damn good movie~

  • thanks to the 42 people that thumbed up a comment that says how the movie ends...

    fu

  • @msLaurientje lol

  • what i dont get is if there is such a high conviction rate, why is there so much crime and rapists running free? date rape is so common one in every 3 women and only 6% of rapists do time. sorry, i think the people locked up are there for career gold stars for some sh*t stain lawyer to make more money. i absolutely believe alot of innocent people die and are in prison. our world and court system is corrupt as hell.

  • yea yea yea i life in holland there is no punishment of death yeayea

  • Great film :)

  • The life of the wife is ended by the knife!!!! Anybody else?

  • what is the name of the song that is played at 1:54?

  • I was shocked when i saw this movie and when i realised this isn't fiction.

Anyhow, it was a beautiful movie, maybe one of the best i've ever seen, but a sad and it makes me see how stupid human beings sometimes really are.

Sorry for my bad english by the way.

  • oh god..it's an amazing movie and Kevin Spacey Wonderful as usual

  • david was a murderer at end hah

  • @leslycatly12 not cool man

  • @aRoseByAnyOtherName it's only just a movie relaxx man :) did u see ''RED RIDING HOOD''they took instruments of torture in middle ages.

  • when i saw this people didnt understand the ending they thought he killed her lmao he did NOT, he was just involved in framing himself to prove that an innocent man can be framed and sentenced to death. it was her choice because she was terminally ill, and willing to die for her own cause. i wouldnt expect small minds to comprehend this

  • @kimmyfreak200 kill one to save a thousand. Your right small minded people can't comprehend that. it's Sad...

  • @adrianna0524 It is better that 100 guilty men walk free than 1 innocent man be put to death. What's your big old brain think about that?

  • @adrianna0524 To be a little nicer, your point would be valid if the system had no flaws, and no corruption. However, the system does have flaws, and corruption, so it's not (valid).

  • Kevin Spacey is a fucking boss.

  • GREAT MOVIE WITH GREAT ACTORS!

  • Great movie indeed, it just didnt get the credits it deserved (for example rottentom.)

  • Rozay604 - thanks for typing that he died and spoiling the ending before I've watched it. Great :(

  • anybody know the name of the song played at the end of the trailer

  • @Bull1908 Waterside Jake & Alex Parker, it's on the soundtrack

  • it pisses me off how good this movie is, and how if you watch it for the second time you know the next step and that at the end he will die and will prove his point

i wish i had that thing from men in black that eareses your memory every time i watch this movie... it jus kills the suspence when u watch it again :(

AWSOME MOVIE HIGHLEY RECOMEND IT KEVIN SPACEYS BEST PERFORMANCE SINCE AMERICAN BEAUTY

  • i have high praises for this film and to the people behind it!! brilliantly told and done.

  • uns dos melhores filmes que ja assisti, otimo

  • Amazing movie to illustrate the cause, albeit in a very dramatic manner!! Death penalty should be ABOLISHED! One innocent person dying on death row is too damned many!

  • She would have deserved the oscar for this! Great movie, great acting, great and tragic story and a sheerly unbelievable ending!

  • can somone tell me the last moment of that movie?

  • @Ahmedabdelreheem I remember a sign about "The End", but i'm not sure.

  • one of the best movies I have ever seen! I watched it when it first came out and now I'm 17 and I still think it's a great film.

  • great movie

  • most amazing movie ever...proves the system fails...

  • Hab den film eben auf RTL2 gesehen...echt absolut hammer film!!!!

  • @matchq74

ich auch :) absolut derber film.

  • kevin and kate are great characters.

  • the movie is based on a true story

  • @korkoxolio1 no its not!!!! just seems like it but its a lie

  • This movie opened my eyes. people trust the government like its Jesus Christ. but when they find out what really is going to happen they rebel and start riots. remember the universal healthcare? everyone was for it saying we need it, yet a few months later they revolt and bitch and whine because Humans are ignorant. they hear the word "free" and American greed gets the best of them. There is a reason God told us not to worship money, and this is the reason. Save a buck and ruin the USA. Foolish.

  • i remember watching this movie in highschool for a project....thumbs up all the way

  • Can some1 explain the significance of the ending to me? i just don't see how he is innocent after seeing the last part. I mean he was still involved in assistant suicide; still kinda of guilty to me. And plus isnt he against death penalty so why is he pro for euthanasia seems like an oxymoron of his beliefs, dont you think?

  • @FoolishInTheEnd

Constance killed herself but gale was set up because of he wanted to prove that innocent people get sentenced to murder

  • @FoolishInTheEnd ..thank god i wasnt going crazy ..i agree with you ..i didnt get it either ..if he was against death penalty why was he there watching his friend to die..it's so annoying and sad what people can do just to prove stupid poaint..even if this is movie..grrrr

  • @FoolishInTheEnd I don't think the point is that he is innocent. It's more along the lines that innocent people can and will be sentenced to death. When the mayor (or maybe the governor) and David had the debate on air David had really good facts and statistics. However the one thing that stuck out that the mayor/governor said was for him to name ONE innocent person that was sentenced to death. David's response... silence. Since that had not happened yet, he wanted to prove that it could happen.

  • @FoolishInTheEnd Euthanasia and the death penalty have nothing to do with one another. One is about a person's choice, and the other is about state sanctioned murder in a flawed and corrupt system. How he's innocent: he was charged with rape and murder, he did not commit either offense. It's assisted* suicide, and he did not commit that, either. He was simply present during a suicide, which may be illegal some places, but has noting to do with the point, anyway.

  • Wonderful film, amazing actors!!!!

  • many have suffered a death on death row due to mistakes.we just dont know about it. this man made it possible to show us that the system can and does fail us.

  • That's my favorite movie :i

  • COMMENTS CONTAIN SPOILERS!! Don't read if haven't seen film. Very good film tho.

Don't tell people the end of the film when they look at this video it's for a trailer not to read about the end!

  • Are you people serious this is the worst movie I have every seen..... I am laughing at all the comments bellow about people crying because this movie was nothing more than a mediocre story put together with terrible direction and acting....WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!

  • why didn't they call the governor from Dusty's home?

Dusty and Gale are guilty of planning and assisting a suicide. So he IS guilty. So are a bunch of other people.

Did Berlin really exist? We only see her in his narration.

    etc. etc. etc.

  • @wattever333 By your logic, and using "guilty" in the sense you are, everyone is guilty. He was not guilty of the crimes he was charged with. He's probably NOT actually guilty of assisted suicide, but that's beside the point, as he wasn't charged with it, and it is not an offense punishable by death. Yes, she existed. Are you a young child? Silliness.

  • what an amazinnng movie this was!

  • This is 'trailer' for people that havn't watched the film, why cant people get that and stop posting spoilers i don't want to watch it know i know he dies. what's the point.

  • @iloveredbull the fact that he dies is the least interesting thing in the ending... I hope that helps.

  • @wattever333 Ooooo... i may trust you and give this a watch then cause it looks good, cheers.

  • @iloveredbull You're an idiot yourself! I wasn't even really reading the comments, just yours because it has thumbs up, and now you spoiled it for me, thanks.

  • @ExcuseMeBatman mate didn't really realize that would happen or mattered cause there was already spoilers. sorry. i watched it in the end anyway and as wattever333 said is true it is the least interesting part. soo worth a watch. i'll remove my comment if i can. p.s. still watch it its a great film

  • @iloveredbull dude sorry, i just was so pissed, you know how that is;) but i know you didn't do it on purpose and i was rude, so i'm sorry. ok i trust you on that and give it a shot anyway;) hope we're good haha

  • kevin spacey OMFG! 1 of my fav actors.. hes just the ultimate serial killer!!

  • This Movie was freaking AWESOME!! I had the chance to come across it the other nite and i was glued to my TV set the whole time. Really Great movie!! Kevin Spacey is just so Talented. Does anyone know if this was based on a True Story ??

  • This is one of my favourite movies of all time. There are precious few films out there brave enough to make such a powerful statement against the death penalty. It's a sickeningly perverse act of "justice" and this film shows perfectly that innocent people actually have to DIE before anybody does anything about it. Brilliant movie, Kevin Spacey is excellent... Watch it if you haven't already

    - Jen

  • i agrre with you magnover =)

  • this is suuuch a good movie!

    LOVE IT!

  • great movie, 5 *

  • WOW... i love this film,.. i was really skeptical at the beginning and didn't get into.. but this film was amazing and its the kind of thing that i like.. sure some people won't like it but hey ho.. i've got it on dvd and watch it all the time.

  • 0:22 i thought it was Ed Norton for a split sec

  • Sorry, that's "irrelevant" not what I wrote.

  • "Critics" didn't hate it, Ebert appears to be alone in really hating it, and I think he let his anti-death penalty bias drive his review. My own position on the issue is irrevelent, I thought the film was entertaining and thought provoking.

  • that was perfect movie

  • "I don't know why critics hate it"

Probably for the same reason everyone else did - because it's a ridiculous story. All the guy "proved" was that our justice system is so "flawed" that someone who deliberately frames himself for murder, and then chooses not to defend himself, could wind up getting executed. Oh, what a tragedy.

  • @mbu17

"Everyone else did" - hmmm... Imdb rating is 7.3 Seems to be that most people like it...

Maybe the critics are pro- death penatly^^

  • damn youre a retard...you gotta get more into thinking...might help you some day

  • Great movie,I don't know why critics hate it,they are fucked up,they prefer dumb movies like harry potter, fuck the movie critics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @kondurperusix jaaj harry potter , poor people!!!

  • @kondurperusix the plot twist made no sense and was REALLY stupid i think that's why

  • @kondurperusix hey. this movie is great, but no need to insult Harry Potter.

  • @kondurperusix u wouldnt like it if i said this movie sucks so why r u saying Harry Potter sucks!

  • Great movie, kate winslet is hot and a great actress

  • I really do think that this was kevins best acting yes....better than "American Beauty" and "Usual Suspects"

  • loved this movie, such an impact! great acting by kate and kevin.

  • to jake o69- there are no laws regarding the legality of not acting. There is moral obligation to act, and to stop a crime, but you could not be charged or found guilty of not interfering or stopping a crime from happening. So he would not have had any charges against him

  • They were making a point. in this movie innocent people died on death row all the time. and everyone believed that they were guilty because the govornment told them they were. He was fighting for something he believed in. He knew innocent people died. and in order to prove it to the people they had to take it to the extreame. He had to be proven innocent and die.

  • @BrynnCroft could have left the last line out!

  • @BrynnCroft spoiler alert jackass

  • @BrynnCroft

so he dies at the end of the movie ugh see what i get for reading youtube comments ( i shoulda known better)

  • @BrynnCroft

It isn't until you learn about the federal grand jury system and discover the conviction rate (over 98%) that you come to realize there is something seriously, seriously and irrefutably wrong with the federal criminal court system.

  • @BrynnCroft Thanks for spoiling it in a trailer video, fucking cunt.

  • beautiful movie, full of convictions, really rare at this time.

  • I love kevin spacey but his character in this movie is a fool in my opinion.

  • then you missed the whole point of the movie.

  • Comment removed

  • i cried a lot seeing this film.

  • What song is at 1:53?

  • if it looks and quacks like a duck it could be a goose.

  • the point is that just becasue there are finger prints and what not you can't actually prove he killed her unless there is actually evidence of him stabbing her/someone else witnesses it. crappy law i know. it must be frustrating.

  • Lol dadirector21.. thats the whole point of it.. he did it on purpose because if his innocence has been proven then it just would have shown that innocent people don't get the death penalty.. it meant to make him look like a murderer.. and then Betsy would be the one to proove the world and his family wrong.. as well as freeing herself when she sees the final tape.

  • After watching the end i think that spacey

deserved the death penalty because he was a partner in crime.

    Just an opinion.

  • if u think about it, this movie is kinda stupid. I mean no offense to anyone who loves this movie, it made no sense. In the end, u find out that he DID NOT make the murder.. cuz she commited suicide then he put his fingerprint on the evidence. WELL DUHHH if the court and cops sees that UR thumb print is on the murdering tool, are they suppose to think u didn't do it?? i mean if they find a fingerprint, are the cops suppose to be "o this was not on purpose.. he just wanted to prove something.

  • this is a great movie

  • there is nothing called private property? i mean if you saw that fat ugly gothic bitch there.

  • I love this movie. Kevin Spacey is soooooooooooo good :)

  • I laughed at the ending because the plot twist was just so good...

  • I honestly dont know why some people

dont like this movie. i thought it was really good.

spacey iss a good actor. hehe

  • spacey is one of the best actors

  • Impressionante. Extremamente inteligente.

  • great movie

  • Fucking bitch Berlin...

I wanted to kick her ass.... It never really explained her motive for doing that to him.

  • because she's a bitch? I never understood it either... maybe because he wouldn't help her with her grades...

  • A great movie!

  • amazing movie

  • When people ask me what's my favorite movie, this has always been my answer.

  • jeden z najlepszych filmów !!!!!!!!!

  • why does kate winslet gag herself in this movie?dont get that scene

  • wow did you actually watch the movie? she killed herself , and david gale framed himself to make it look like he killed her they were both against death row and died for the cause showing that the death row system is flawed.. cause you can kill an innocent man on death row.. and thats the basis for the whole movie..

  • thanks for spoiling the end of the movie for me. u wrote she killed herself and framed david. now i now the ending twist thanks to u. and i wont see the movie because i know the ending. before writing a comment that would spoil....u should write spoiler alert. should i not see the movie because i know the twist that she killed herself and framed gale.

  • people if you have not seen this movie yet you are living under a rock.. and if your too dumb to realize what direction a comment is going then you need help cause all you have to do is stop reading the comment so *retard alert* allamramy

  • Thanks..... YOU spoiled the movie for me now. How about writing SPOILER ALERT before describing the plot twist yourself.

  • ya i am stupid i did the same mistake myself. i am not sure if that is the twist or not. that is what i thought i'd read. if u found out that it is not and that i understood wrongfully then reply to me. SORRYYY.

  • Forgiven =)

  • That's not the twist anyways....

Gale was in on it as well...

  • Lol I accidently read the full review before I watched the movie. I knew EXACTLY how it was gonna end, and Spacey STILL surprised me. I cried so hard!!! That was an awesome ending and an amazing film!!!

  • You all need to be careful with your spoilers!

  • I STILL cant find this movie! it looks BRILLIANT!

  • its awesome

  • This film is amazing!

    Watch it!!!

  • we started watching this today in r.s

    pretty good

but does he die in the end?

  • yes

  • o that suks

we thot he wud anyway..like she gets the evidence to proove him inocent and then he dies

  • I think it is a very fascinating, but also a very sad and impressive. just watch it!! =)

  • My R.E recommemded this film as research for my writing into the death penalty. does anybody know where i can find a copy in britain? x

  • join like netflix you can rent it..

  • Good film watching it in English

  • A script was splendid, and this movie was really deep contents. Thank you.

  • Another Bleeding Heart from...Alex Parker I guess..I hope:)

  • hey can anyone tell me who sings the song at the end of the trailer and whats it called i love it

  • for those who haven't; u gotta watch this movie!!simply amazing

  • wait i dont get it. SPOILER!!!!!!

so he purposely got on death row and died jus to prove how fucked up tha law is rite.
