I wonder if the song was written for that episode or if it was a song that didn't make the cut in the original "once more with feeling".
i love buffy the vampire slayer, this was my favourite episode ever i loved Willow and Tara'sa song. but i hated the ending to the 7th season and the same with Angel the final season of that. What is it about Joss Whedon and cliffhangers?
@musiclover201009 Well Buffy was/is being continued in a series of graphic novels plus buffy wasn't REALLY ended on a cliff hanger.
Angel is also being continued in graphic novel form, It ended the way it did (I don't know how Angel ended though :P) because Joss Whedon was kind of pestering the network to give the green light for season six then and there, so they refused it.

Angel: Aftermath (volume five) and so far they've gone up to like. Volume 8 I think? Well yeah. It's all Canon, and It's REALLY good. I only read volumes 1-4 so far, and can't wait to read the rest. Also Buffy season 8. I only read volume one of that so far though. but it was REALLY good too.

Now as for Angel....well that couldn't be helped since it was cancelled. But Buffy had an amazing season final. It wrapped up everything nicely. Hellmouth closed and all that stuff.
