Thracians are not Greeks, but Thracians. Ask yours Homeros, Herodotos... Seuthopolis is not greek - is thracian. Only the name of the city came to the present day with the Greek written sources.

"Plovdiv" is bulgarian name with thracian origin (Pulpudeva). "Phlipoupolis" come from the name of macedonian ruler and greek culture pupil Philip II, who was conquest this town already old in IV century BC.

Please don't be blind greek nazi. Don't sully the name of our normal Greek neighbors. Peace.

Sad that most people in Bulgaria don't give a crap about our ancient relatives. Relatives that are 6000 years old! I mean there are loads of sites in Varna, but they haven't been excavated as those who found them can't get anyone to help them excavate! This summer I'm going to Varna, my family have found a site there and we're going scuba diving to see it. Should be good :)

Also, over centuries, Bulgarians forcibly assimilated the Vlas / Blas (which is the plural for Vlach/Blach) who are the only attested Thracian descendents by that time sources.
