This isn't a bad game. Good graphics, still quite scary, more blood and disturbing images, good recreation. The only bad thing was that everyone's lines were messed up and barely made any sense. In other words, they just made the entire game confusing. I had to look at the original Siren to find out what the hell was going on. After that, I tried to explain the other things they changed in the story.

@KilgoreHD Yup, it is a remake of the first game. Though they did explain everything, not leaving any holes in the remake. And some things was never really explained from the first to the second. Still they loved to leave after a very rough mindfuck to think about. Even if I hated cliffhangers, they made it pretty good cliffhangers that I can hate but still enjoy.

@KilgoreHD Well, you have to think a bit when the original was released. During time, many games developed new and better graphics, in days, months, years and so on. The death scenes in the originals was pretty ok. Didn't let them die when I played them XP. Though one was never explained, what happened with Tamon Takeuchi and Yoriko Anno? Since they could never leave the otherworld, did they kill themselves? Met up with Kyoda Suda? or just lived in some abandoned place?

@KilgoreHD Nah, I would say it was pretty good. I think more this one had more action and the older one had more story between the characters and more characters of course. But from what I can say, the english dub in the older ones sucked donkey balls. But then again, it's my opinion.

i also like how the shibito are intellegent and actually will block your attacks and counter. THats how i first saw the "neck break" game over screen when i first got the game i was just swinging like crazy and panaiced. The the shibito blocked and snapped my damn neck. Also I find it interesting how noone noticed or pointed out how the "Ganados" from RE4 and "Majini" of RE5 are heavily influenced by the Shibito of the Siren series(the original Siren was released in 2003).

Well only if you are playing the little girl, if you get spotted you could run and hide, you could also brace doors if shibito try to get in. It's just if a shibito or you just run up to them and they are pretty much in attacking range, Bella will freak out and cower. All other characters could knock out shibito with weapons when you get a hold of them, or with experience you could knock out sbibito which are holding little to no weapons with your fists.
