Honest to GOD, My Grandfather, James Author Pritchett (stage name Author Q Smith) wrote this song to my Granny, Lillian Pritchett. He wrote many a country song that he didn't get the proper credit for. Ricky Skaggs gave him proper recognition and my Mother, & aunts and uncles, still get royalties from this and other songs like Wedding Bells & I over looked an orchid. Hank Jr wrote a song about him on Pure Hank called Be Careful Who You Love (Author's Song). I have REAL country in my blood.
