  • How do you lip sync the clay people? Is it hard?

  • Wow. Brilliant as usual, Alex! I was wondering when the snowman would come up! Great job on the animation, too - it is very good. I liked the "Goblin Realms Warriors" bit! Also, its dead classy that you recorded all your own sound effects.

    Merry Christmas!

    Alex

  • This is fantastic :) Its great that after almost 4 years, you are still making these great vids :D

  • what do you use for armatures?

  • I use wire but so far I haven't had any luck finding a specifically good one. I hear some type of aluminium wire works well, I'm trying to get some at the moment.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAH! I want a playstation...no, I want a DSi! Merry Xmas!

  • Good luck getting the DSi XD have a good Christmas!

  • ur awesome what fps do u shoot at and do u have skype or msn?

  • It's at 24 fps and i'll send you a message with my skype name

  • Brillaint, as always! 5/5 "A true Christmas Treat!"

  • Glad you enjoyed it :) have a good Christmas!

  • How did you get certain objects to float in mid-air?

  • I use the software Stop Motion Pro and it comes with this tool called rig removal that allows you to remove wires and things that would hold up the object - making it float. I think you could probably do this in an image editor or something though :)

  • hi i was wondering if you could tell me how do u lip sync ure characters how do u know what mouth to use and in what frame?

    nice santas chair

  • It's pretty difficult but i'll have a go at explaining. Basically you need a stop motion program that can line up sound with the captured images (eg monkeyjam or stop motion pro) and then listen to the one sound from an individual frame. if it is an "ah" sound, you use the "ah" mouth. Same goes for all the others. It takes a bit of practise but it works well :)

  • As always, awesome. Not quite as manic, though.

  • awesome!!

  • Very nice! Excellent video!

    Also, the music really fits!

  • I love the snowman kid!

  • do u use armatures for ure characters?

  • Yeah I do, but in this film the armatures were very basic because they only really had to sit down, I just adjusted it for the characters that had to walk.

  • I really enjoyed this. You never cease to provide entertaining, quality animation. My favorite of the series. Great work! I laughed out loud.

  • I second that!

  • Thanks very much! I recognise your name, weren't you from kkf? :)

  • Its ok (= where do u get ure clay from?

  • I don't remember because it's been months since I ordered any, but it's newplast and I usually order it online :) they also sell it in some craft shops.

  • K could u make a video of your set up that would be realy cool and popular and most people love vids like that

  • that was very funny. this is my favorite one of your claymations. overall it was just a fantastic film, but the only criticism i have is that at times the animation was pretty choppy, and the alot of the characters and props werent smooth. (but you probly already realized that) oh and what model camera did you use?

  • Very funny!

Made me smile the whole time.

    It was made very well.

    Keep up the great work!
