This has now become my favourite live version of 1K Knives. The synth from 1:50-2:08 does it for me. I have no idea if this was ever set to laserdisc or mastered in stereo. It would be a joy to find out one day. どうもありがとう for the upload!
It seems that the original laser disc and eventual dvd/vhs bootlegs all have mono/fake stereo. This is probably my favorite concert from the '79 era line up and would love to hear it in remastered stereo someday...there has to be a master stereo recording of this show.

This is my favorate version of "1000 knives" I have ever heard. Kazumi Watanabe was absolutely a "young lion" here.

Ooh, a version that I dn't think I've heard before.
My favourite version's from the Kinokuniya hall recordings though...There're a couple of amazing solos on that from AY.
