  • Rides Again was the best. After all these years I still teach their songs to younger guitarists along with some good selections like "Life's been Good". I love to see their reaction to both the licks and lyrics in a lot of Joe Walsh's work.

  • good album and many fun times listening to it.

  • you cant compare james gang to the eagles. different times different styles.

  • JAMES GANG OR DIE!

  • @OzzyFan324282 Fuck yeah!

  • Joe Walsh was the rocket that the Eagles rode to superstardom. No doubts here.

  • its like the bad company are better than FREE man!!

  • @greenowl2 yes i could not agree more

  • The James Gang was incredible and cramked out some truly great tunes like this gem........thanks for posting!

  • Agreed....Eagles are shit in comparison

  • To those who say the lyrics in this recording are wrong,..um,..if Joe is singing them this way, then they are right. Sometimes a singer will change up the lyrics to fit their mood at the time.

  • One of the best.

  • Not too bad for a Youngstown bar band!!!

  • It's great that their beginings originate around Youngstown in the great state of Ohio, but those beginnings hardly define them. Joe is known around the world which includes a large following in Japan. I was quite surprised to hear a Joe's guitar blaring from the ear bud of twentyish man in a subway in Tokyo in 04

  • wildabeast, I agree...love these guys.

  • : )

  • There I Go Again (Joe Walsh) Hey‚ ooh‚ what’ll I do Looks like it’s the end Ooh‚ hey‚ could you please stay There I go again You know I hate to lose her The good thing that I had I would rather lose her Then watch it all go bad I guess I’ll just go on ahead There’s still some things to come Yes‚ things are pretty much said Back where I came from
  • Hey‚ ooh‚ what’ll I do Looks like it’s the end Ooh‚ hey‚ could you please stay There I go again It may be that I found my way And not see her again Tomorrow is a brighter day Why should I pretend I know I won’t see her again We’ve gone our separate ways Making love every now and then I don’t have much to say
  • @jjammin1812 the last line is wrong... it goes: "we've gone our separate ways... thinkin' of her now and then, don't have much to say."

  • Hey‚ ooh‚ what’ll I do

    Looks like it’s the end

Ooh‚ hey‚ could you please stay

    There I go again

    Hey‚ ooh‚ what’ll I do

    Looks like it’s the end

Ooh‚ hey‚ could you please stay

    There I go again

  • i have this cd, so good

  • great song... only a piece of an outstanding rock album... thanks to a girl I knew back then for giving me this album the after it came out...

  • @rreeves70 Wow, a girl gave you this album. Is she now your wife ?

  • @cchmlfa no - we've gone our separate ways...

  • Rusty Young plays petal steel on Rides Again, Al Perkins was not on this album

  • Great song that is overlooked by many.

  • I guess I kinda always hoped Joe did the steel on this - a la Skunk Baxter, or even Jimmy Page. Oh well - it's still one of my all time faves.

  • I always thought Rusty Young played pedal steel on this?

  • Al Perkins played the steel guitar on Rides Again

  • great band joe walsh is better with these dudes than the eagles i think

  • I prefer his solo stuff.

  • @hfield07 no, the band is better. simple as that.

  • @hfield07 nah James Gang was where it was at.

  • @wildabeast95 : I agree!

  • @wildabeast95 MAN YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!!

  • @wildabeast95 I think so, too! I like the Eagles a lot, but I like this band a little better, even though they did not do as much, the are a lot more fun to listen too, and Joe Walsh did not have all those other Eagles' egos to deal with. Actually, I even liked him alone (Life's Been Good to Me So Far) than with the Eagles.

  • @wildabeast95 Sure thing bro' :the'GANG' were not 'commercial'!(Only -perhaps - the 1st TWO Eagles albums were true to their 'integrity'...XXXXcreashonrebel

  • Great tune by Joe...he plays steal pedal guitar on this...great memories...

  • love it, thanks!

  • The James Gang got me through Jr. High School. I thought no one else knew about them but me back then. I listened to them most every night before I went to sleep.
