Don't waste your time nor your money! This product, like most USA MADE products now-a-days is nothing short of junk! There are so many negatives about this sprayer (cordless 18V) that I don't even know where to start. To start out with, the batteries are horrible and wont hold a charge for a half hour. Secondly, all you end up doing is filling the quart paint container, it barely sucks up 2/3 of the paint it holds.

agreed.... thinning allows for smoother application on surfaces, instead of creating orange peel texture with unthinned material!
Ask a lacquer painter/spayer about how liquid and thinned out lacquer is to achieve a smooth "car like paint job finish"

Tinned paint requires multipul coats required to achieve the originally desired color??? Bullshit!
