From what it looks like to me in this video, there seems to be a dull spot in the blade near the tip of the AKC Leverletto. I bought one of the tactical leverlettos, and I have the same thing.
I really like the knife, but unless they can refine certain aspects of the finished product, they really have no right charging more than 50 bucks for these blades.
JB does have some great stuff! you can actually buy that Mikov right from the Mikov site for $60. For &80 you can get it with some file work. I was considering getting one for a while and I think you just sealed the deal for me.
One thing that I found kinda surprising though (because I don't know that much about knives) is that the lever locks don't appear to be "ready to go" after they are out. That little tab has to be down or else it could close up against a hefty spring, but it still seems like more of a liability over some other locking systems. I'm digging the Axis lock on Benchmade knives. Just as fast I think and they automatically lock up.
Was curious about the Mikov. Thanks for the review, gonna scoop a RWL-34/Turkish Walnut combo!
