Excellent! Lots of people write here, that you have brilliant pedal technique, but i think all your technique is brilliant, tempo, phrasing... And what is important, it's not only technical "machine play", but it is played with sensitivity, which gives soul to this beautiful music. My respect!
Wonderful playing! I am glad that some organist are trying to keep the organ alive. In the USA, the church organ is a dying market as playing the organ is no longer popular any more.
@patsaxon - We do need organists. but there are encouraging things happening! The American Guild of Organists hold yearly "Pipe Organ Encounters" in several cities - a kind of week long "pipe organ camp" for young people. I know of many teens who are very serious about organ performance!
If you click on my name, it should take you to a playlist of about 70 young organists, ages 7 to around 20, who have videos here on YouTube. Most of them are from the USA. I'm quite encouraged!
Wow you're very talented! Unfortuantely, I listened to Felix Hell's interpretation before I listened to this... it made your performance seem only "excellent" instead of "phenomenal".
She's talented and practices a lot. I love listening to this piece - it's magnificent. Bach makes a great fugue out of a simple progressive movement - that's what makes him a master.
Very polished and musical playing. You have a real sense of how to shape a phrase in Bach. Maybe think a little more about possible subtle articulations in the pedal part, which sounds here sometimes a bit too bland legato. The famous pedal solo at the end was well controlled too! Great stuff!
Lovely to watch, but felt that player was a bit detached from the spirit of the piece. At least the cameraman had the good sense to display the footwork to its best advantage.
Tremendous playing, I usually imagine the pedal solo at the end to be ever so slightly faster but I have no objections to anyone's interpretations, and that was by far one of the best I've heard.
Bravo! One of the best interpretations of Bach's "Preludium & Fuga Concertata" Bach's perennial organ testing piece. The old Kantor would have merely smiled and said "Fine playing"....but since he often reffered to his own playing as merely "adequate" this would have meant: "out of this world!!!" I would concur! I hope you develop a CD(s)of Bach's organ music..please consider it!!! (I would buy it & tout it!!!)

No No No!!!! non ci siamo proprio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After D-E-F#-E-D sequences, after the rest don't delay the B-A-B-F#-G ...
That slight pause distracts from the marvelous momentum.
The pedal reed is inappropriate in the beginning. Does not match the manual registration.
Wonderful performance!
Thank you,
RG Denver, Colorado USA

Agreed about the slight pause. It really does take away from the momentum.
I'm ok with the reed, though. Since she has the mixtures on, I think the reed is fine.
Nitpicky stuff. Other than that, great playing!!
