Don't want to discourage the child, only the person who has no idea how the soundtrack comes across.....take a learning course or put you hearing aid in!!

Playing is definetly not bad for a 10-year old, although of course it's not about age but about the amount of practise put into it.

The person that created this video however should know better than to make people deaf, and the guitar teacher should turn that distortion waaaay down.

1/5 just for scaring my cat with the 140 dB distortion, 5/5 for a 10-year old with such a good taste of music :)

cool, how long has he been playing? I don't consider age a factor when evaluating how good someone is, rather how long they have been playing for. Though there is a dis-advantage to the size of his hands it doesn't make him realy realy good because he is young. if you seen a 30 year old playing this most people would probably say it sucked. no offence. if he has been playing for under 2 years he is doing great but any more then it's was just okay. Keep practicing pl0x :-).

Don't pay any attention to pasha355. Musically he's younger than you are. When one is learning it is all about supporting each other. Music is an expression, not a competition. Great that you are turned on to Tommy Emmanuel so early in life. He is all about melody and groove. Focus on that in your own playing. Thanks for posting. Good job.
