  • nice live version, but ray is a bit too loud and bass is not so strong, and the second voice too. but i must understand that they were in the sixties and so on.. =))

  • Not bad at all. I still like the version by Paul Revere and The Raiders better.

  • Musica show de bola

  • un petit bijou...merci! ^^

  • excellent man u got any more

  • Kinks have the best version of Louie Louie...Ray Davies voice and the Kinks

    style was always...bawdy...song and

    style match

  • Dave's solo in this is amazing - LISTEN TO IT!!

    Shame he wasn't on camera.

  • Love the way they included the false start after the break, as in the Kingsmen version.

  • does anybody know what album i can find this song?

  • its on the remastered version of their debut album "the kinks"

  • @c3lica89 Dear friend, It was on the second US KinKs LP, KinK-Size and if my memory serves me well, it was also on Kinks-Kinkdom which also had See My Friends, Who'll Be the Next in Line....one of my favorite early KinKs LPs. Can't explain why Reprise records placed Louie Louie on their 2nd and 4th US LP's. If you can't find it, I'll burn it for you, ok?

  • Found in the INA French Archives and put into circulation by me. 66rules

  • @66rules ...and God Bless you for finding it and bringing it to us. I feel like a kid in a candy store with all these "new" discoveries.
