I would not go for one of these. I had one and it busted in like the first month i had it. If you want a great EBB, check out the CYMA Cm08 Glock 18. The rate of fire is extremely fast, the fps is okay, and it runs on an actual gearbox and an actual battery. The rate of fire is very close to an actual G18. You can easily get one for 50 bucks.

i bought this gun twice. they were quite nice. although they break very easily if you dry fire it. meaning that once you fired all of your bbs, you will start dry firing and damage the gun. so be sure to count how many shots you make or otherwise, you will end up like me

dude i used to get the crappy seethrough taurus sig version. if you take off the grips theres sodder points... so put a wire on each. get a dollar store toy that runs on c cells and rip out the batterie carrier sodder negativ positive. its full auto. comprable to a maruzen basic. with ENOUGH batteries. thats to say that takes a group of batteries longer then a flag pole.. but thats if the gears stay running. because the gun wasnt built that way its as dependable as bernie madoff

I recently purchased the Tokyo Marui EBB Silver Desert Eagle and I have to say, it's pretty awesome. I never thought any EBB pistols would be good but thanks to Redwolfairsoft and this video, I find backyard mini battles and skirmishes a lot more fun. The Desert Eagle is really effective and I also LOVE the Nickel Finish. Looks like a REAL Deagle with the trademarks and stuff.

EBBs came out years ago; Arclight got his first EBB pistol (Desert Eagle) when he was still in High School.

This is why it is important to do research into Airsoft weapons especially on large retailer websites like ours. You never know what kind of gems you can find out there that have already been on the market for years.

Indeed, EBBs are cheap etc. I got this point, but, nowadays, in times where kids get mobile phones, ipods, iphones and other technical knick-knack from the very beginning (it's like they r born with some shiny, white headphones...*g), I think, they do not care as much about the difference of 70/80 bucks (or less)...

These EBBs just didn't convince me when I had some of them a few years ago...

It make sense to list price on the video with US Dollar. On the website, you can change it to HK dollar prices, might be a tad expensive compared to local Mongkok Airsoft Street prices, but you are paying for quality!

Good to see a video on these Marui EBBs. Since you guys at RW mentioned AEPs, I think a video showing some of the Marui AEPs would be good too. These guns don't get the recognition they deserve. I have a Marui USP AEP and it works great. A real step up from the EBBs, considering AEPs can use heavier BBs, have a higher fps, and are made out of higher quality materials. A lot of attachments are available for them too. Does any other company make AEPs?

The whole point of this video is to point out to younger beginners with tight budgets that EBBs price not much more then decent springers.

@aldave No, AEPs are mini AEGs. An AEP has a close internal design to a regular AEG while an EBB is very different and much weaker and less accurate.

Also AEPs run on bigger batteries (voltage) than EBBs giving them a higher rate of fire.

AEPs are designed as high end (compared to a spring pistol) secondaries for those who live in cold environments or just cannot afford to buy gas constantly.

Thank you for understanding the point of an EBB. A number of people seem to be missing the point; its cheap, very cheap.

Either for people who can't afford something better then a springer or just want a cheaper model as a gift, an EBB is significantly less expensive and less compicated to run then any AEP or GBB due to a lack of need for gas or special rechargeable batteries.
