FZR2000- you will have a car that is super fast

Tombstone- daytona car

Bomber- a slow car

Other Cheats

pioneer = Gives all the cars faster engines. slip = Makes the track slippery. rushhour = Turns all traffic into secret car type. roadrage = Crashes car in front if you hoot kcjones = Rainbow car and horizon (3DFX-only) rain = To drive in rain in the non-3DFX version mad = Cows instead of tire smoke! My favorite Need for Speed game of all time. Unfortunately, I only got it to work on Windows 95. Wouldn't work on 3.11, 98, XP, or Vista. And of course, I no longer have an old computer or Windows 95. When I get the money, I should build a retro computer just to play Windows 95 games like NFS II.

Because it's too old. The installer is buggy, so the game won't install on a modern system. There is a version on Emule that doesn't need to be installed, and THAT can be played on a modern system.

Yeah in the later ones the speedo says you're doing 200, but it doesn't look or feel like it. NFS2 really felt like you were hammering along. NFS1 had a killer rock soundtrack though... real driving music, not like the NFS games now.

There's a NFS2SEA.exe file in the CD, which runs the hardware rendered version (the software version runs through NFS2SEN.exe). Copy it into the NFS2SE folder, and don't forget to move the glide2x.dll (or something) file out of the C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 folder before running the game.
