My daughter Holly Rose was also born with Biliary Atresia.She was born 1/7/93 in Okla.She recieved a new liver 3/12/94 but the blood clotted-off to it and the doctors prepared us for the worse.A miracle happened and another liver became available at the same Cardinal Glennon's Children's Hospital.Holly had 2 liver-transplants within 48 hrs.They didnt flush the poison toxins so she had 50% brain damage.She lived the rest of her life in a wheelchair.She passed 11/2/03.Mommy,daddy&sissy mis U baby.

how would someone go about being tested for a match for summer. my sone was born with BA. and i know for sure im not a match for him. he is going great and is as healthy as can be but i know that other babies are not as fortunate. but if i could help another family that just wants those few axtra years with their baby i would. please let me know if theres anyway i can help.

My son was diagnosed wit Biliary Atresia @8weeks old they did a Kasai in 4/04 at childrens hospital in california thanks god my son Kasai was successfully he is doing great he is 7yrs old now ...i always ask my self why babys are born wit this problem and i pray 2 god to give a answer
im so glad my videos have managed to help other people in holding out hope, unfortunatly we now know for definate that summers kasai didnt work and has other problems starting to effect her mental development so she will need a transplant in the near future i hope all is ok with your granchild x
in 2008 my first grandchild was born with biliary atresia. @ first they said she had jaundice, but @ almost 3 months they realize it wasn't and had to have the kasai procedure. in 2010 they said that 99% she will need a transplant. it's been very difficult. thank you so very much for sharing apart of your daughter's life with us.
At least she got found out young so her future will be bright!,i have liver desease and i'm only a child still,its NAFLD(Kings college is the best for liver disease and i go there to),i hope your baby is well soon xxxxxx

Ciana is now 13yrs old & very healthy 4 a transplant kid
