No doubt, Marley's great, a very prolific, charismatic artist, but I still think people holding him up so high (higher than they do the best in other genres) that they don't listen to anyone else in reggae.

People love the Beatles a lot, but that doesn't keep them from listening to other rock groups. It's as if, with Marley, "oh, he's so great, that's all there is to listen to in reggae -- just Marley and his children." If I did the same with the Beatles and rock, they'd think I was crazy.
