Sorry Michael, nobody is "born with an accent". You learn how to speak based on your environmental surroundings. Perhaps your parents brought you up in the New England area and they had a similar accent? It is also common for very young children to have speech problems. I only say this because I am using your video for a paper I am writing in my Voice Articulation class. Peace.

That is so strange, I had a bostonian accent too! haha I thought I was the only one...I'm glad to know I wasn't alone. Luckily no one ever made me go to speech therapy. I would say corn like coh-wn and I had the hardest time saying girl. Luckily I outgrew it and it seems you did to. so YAY!

so i always had to say like, sally sells salads on saturdays AND like sasha seal saw some secret secrets. And i absolutely hated having to leave class at like random times.

Thats an actual type of speech impediment. I had an impediment when I was little, and my speech coach called it that. It isnt meant as a slight toward those from Boston. Its just a way to identify the way it sounds.
