When I load a game, I get this:

"CdRead: Retry..." Which then repeats again in an annoying loop.

you need to get the scph1001.bin file off of a download server, then when you put your sd card into your computer put the file in the psxisos folder. you also need the .bin file of a game in order for it to work.

I have another problem now though. My gamecube controller was working fine the other day with the game I was playing on WiiSX, but now it doesn't work in the game, but it works in the emulator (when I select the settings). Any ideas why it doesn't work?

n64 and psx emulators already run near perfect with near every game on a pc. Get a pc capable of running anything, and a usb controller(like the xbox 360 controller) and map the buttons in the emu's the way that you like them. Problem solved, emulator paradise.

The wii homebrew community is just amazing. I mean, I just thought it was cool to play an emulator like SNES GX or FCEU GX, and thinking that i'd never have to spend another wii point on a vc game.

Yes, its an emulator, but its a psx emulator, meaning there are no ROM's, you use ISO's, basically backed up ps1 games.

This is Greaaat! i have ps1 games on psp but sometimes it freezes and it has to have some sort of code and stuff like that and blah blah blah (its great though, i played tons of games on my psp! ^^) and im glad that the wii homebrew scene is growing, now if only they made a psp emulator that would be also interesting! :D

this is nothing special psp, pc and ps3 can no problem. better on PC and PS3 cos you can play in HD resolutions.

right but it is impressive as it hasn't been done on the Wii before. The PS3 has backward compatability so it doesn't count as an homebrew advance. As for the PSP, the POP's loader has been worked on with each firmware but this is the first time it's been done on the Wii to this extent. No one has ever released any PS1 emu's on the Wii as of yet. I am proud to finally be part of the Wii HB Scene thanks to the Homebrew channel.

Two things wrong with your statement:

1) Not everyone who has a Wii has a PSP, and Wii homebrew can be easier to set up than the PSP. Plus, there are fewer risks.

2) DS is only powerful enough where PSX games could be ported, not emulated. That means finding some way to decompile or steal the source code in order to transition it over.
