  • that's so sexy, can u teach me? o_O

  • thats amazing!!!

is it possible to ad this into a game so when your guy steps in it ti does this?

  • Cool dude

  • Oh, I'm using Camino on my mac. I don't think anyone else uses Camino but it owns :)

  • That was pretty good! Not that I know much about 3D rendering, but still...

  • Interesting. Might I suggest not being so violent with the water if you're going to just simulate the surface interactions? Maybe you should read the manual on Houdini, in realflow you can spawn splashes when the surface is perturbed too strongly, houdini might do something similar.

Also, I'm guessing you're lowering the detail of the simulation but, trust me, it's not worth it. Spend a little more time and enjoy an impressive result.

  • Not to be rude but the surface being perturbed is determined by the weight of the object hitting the water and by the video you have no way of knowing that weight. That may be a heavy wooden tube or a light rubber tube. A light tube wouldnt cause splashes. not a 2 foot drop from something bigger than a doughnut. Houdini splashes im sure, it even has white caps. Im new to this man. Give me a break.

  • then don't post nub shit. any 5 year old can slap a dynamic fluid object and a torus in a scene and hit render. A REAL artist takes the time to refine before they post examples. You fail at art, EWeenBag.

  • than put your words were your mouth is AND GO GET THE FREE HOUDINI AN DDO IT BETTER ASSHOLE. II challenge you. If its so noob you should be able to do it no problem. your a jealous asshole.

  • Just ignore those kids, they're like mexicans slapping each other in the ass with hot mops.

  • You are the worst type of person, im so very glad your account got closed.

  • What browser are u using?

  • Dude thats amazing yes I am a apple Love got a big mac my self lol! Its the white.

  • should try something extreme like a waterfall or something

  • Nice, i liked your first one better though the water in that one was a lot more realistic.

  • i wasnt as worried about the water as i was the interaction on the inflated intertube

  • This looked great Emeek. Keep it up.

  • This is awesome, how long to render?

  • WOW

  • Wow this is taking a helluva long time to buffer - of course I'm on the Windows side of my iMac using IE5. Lol nice vid anyways Eric.

  • I'm on safari on my MacBook and it took long to buffer to..? Youtube! ahah

  • Me 2???

  • Yesh - Youtube is slow a lot. But IE5 sucks.

  • tahts pretty cool, i gotta learn how to do that, but is there a way to make the water splash?

  • How long did it take to make and render? Also, did you render at HD or just render at a lower resolution and encode it in HD?

  • I bet Ray Tracing's a bitch. is that how Houdini renders? i'm not too familiar with how it renders but i think it would make sense if it used ray tracing.

  • it uses ray tracing and depth map. Also uses microplolygon rendering and ray trace micropolygon rendering

  • i bet thats no picnic to render

  • also, are you rendering at 24 fps? or did you drop it to 15 for youtube, it just seems choppy from my end here.

  • its youtube

  • thats awsome do a tutorial

  • Nice fluid sim. How long did that take you to render on your octacore workstation?
