This is stupid is so many ways. And I don't care how many of you Heartland employees log on and say it's wonderful.. It is Not. Today is December 14th and this Heartland video was upload on January 31st. And so far, after 10 months 14 days… this so called "incredible tool", "great tool", "...mind-blowing", "...stupendous" product has only generated 15,295 hits. Uh-oh! That’s because this tool is actually “mundane” and “uninspired” and “mediocre”…But keep up the good work!
@scottliles Scott, we love what you have to say! We agree that all merchants should strive, first, for excellent customer service, to keep a customer returning. Our solution is just an extra way to reward customers for being loyal patrons of a business.
@scottliles Have you tried it???? It works. I am a customer and LOVE it! It boosted my sales by 25%!!! I also so " Hello, and Good-bye" Serioulsy? Have you heard of Fuel Perks, Starbucks Rewards, etc......if it didn't work, teh big guys wouldn't be doing it. It's available to everyone, including my coffee shop. Don't knock something you haven't used yourself. It's just hearsay.
@healthins1I have to agree with the previous gentleman (scottliles), This idea of carrying around an extra card is not what I as a customer want to do. "Don't knock something you haven't used yourself"? What are you talking about?!? We customers have key chains full of these gizmos, and quite frankly I agree, the less the better. Seriously, what happen with good ole' fashion customer service. And I don't believe for a second your sales have increased 25%. You sound silly. I don't want gimmicks!
I think that Scott guy is right. I don’t want to carry around a little card on my key chain AND have to keep up with a balance on a receipt….And, I am not sure what you mean about the "don't knock something" because we are actually speaking from our intimate experiences. And just because the "big guys" are doing it doesn't necessarily mean you should for your establishment. You want to know a little secret that is not showing up in your market data?? WE DON'T LIKE THE LITTLE CARDS.
This, to me, is a very unique way of marketing without involving significant costs and giving very high yield per lead. I think this is an incredible tool that can do wonders in today's competitive market.

Keep up with a card? Glance at the receipt? This is DUMB idea!
How about going back to basics? Like: Good Customer Service.
Really, how hard is it to "hello" to me when I come in or say "Good-bye, Thank You" when I leave??
Heartland’s solution is to carry around a little card? Seriously? I've got enough little cards already - please!
Better go back to the drawing board Heartland, this sounds like a final exam project for a marketing class.
A for effort, but D- for what customers really want.
