CQC = Close Quarters Combat.

In the game CQC is used to fight enemies in meele. By saying that snake is asking if the gun can handle it since a lot of moves involve bashing the gun in the someones face. Some guns don't allow CQC (like machine guns and rockets)

In fact if you look closely yo can see the end of th barrel as well as other parts of that M4 are on a ^^ pattern for extra damage. Looks badass.

Yeah, Grey Fox was killed destroying Metal Gear REX in MGS1 and Olga took his place in MGS2 as the Cyborg Ninja. She died saving Raiden from Metal Gear RAYs and now Raiden is the Cyborg Ninja in MGS4.
