i was listening to this video but while the music was playing in the video i was looking at some other site,then as soon when i heard the music at 2:24,i knew it was smrpg,i was playing the game as little and i would always hear this music because i would lose battles a lot :3 good ol' times,wish squaresoft continued working with nintendo :(,they could have made more awesome games,also i wish rare was working for nintendo too,rare made such awesome games for snes and n64 :D *cough*conker*cough*

I think Memories of Green (Chrono Trigger) would be my number one. I always find myself humming it or having it stuck in my head cause it's such a great game and I have good memories of watching my mother play it growing up. Second would be Mario Paint. Another game of great memories. FF IV and Starfox would be tied for third for me. Cause they're both just awesome songs. XD

I really like snes music but Shadow of the Colossus and Okami really show what can you do for a game with more capabilities.

You cant really compare SNES composition with a PS2 or PC composition. On the SNES the composers where really limited with what they did. Today its no problem to use high quality mp3 on a games as we have dvd or blue ray discs^^

Mega man has always had the very best music hands down! From his early 8 bit years to his 16 bit super n.e.s. years till even now. Metroid has in my opinion been the only game to come close to rivaling the music. Great video!

I like the music from Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. just not as much as Mega Man and Final Fantasy. For Mega Man it's more about nostalgia for me. I hadn't played the games in years but I remembered the music. about four years ago I finally got Mega Man 1-7 and X1-3 and got to hear those great soundtracks again. It made me happy.

Ever heard of Super Double Dragon (Jap: Return of Double Dragon)? It may not be as groundbreaking as Yuzo Koshiro's Streets of Rage, but it sure had some kick-ass fighting music in there that rarely bores me even till this day.

Mario Paint, how surprising! =P Armored Armadillo's is one of my favorites too, rockin' tune. I remember at my work one of my managers was humming the battle music from Mario RPG. He didn't know where it was from & I was able to pull it out of my brain in a few seconds. A vgmusic geek moment, but I'm use to it.
