sammy and ed wrote this song with acoustic guitars sitting on the beach in the middle of the night near their beach houses. in fact, ed came over to sammy's when sammy was about to have sex with his wife when ed knocked on his door. ed said valerie kicked him out that evening. sammy tried to get some when he came back in the house. hence the name of the song!

My fave band of all time......cannot understand the many comments on VH youtube vids saying DLR was a better singer than Sammy. The DLR and Sammy eras were different but both good in their own way but it is simply ridiculous to say DLR was a better singer because he was not.
