Iceland is almost 100% dependent on food imports. However, I was in Iceland in April 2010 and they are way better off than we are in Sweden. One thing that won't help anyone is a bible! People will need food and water, and ways to obtain it in the case of such crisis. Paper money becomes worthless unless you need it for cooking, I have a big-fat safe with gold and silver coins because that is REAL money. And of course, weapons and ammunition are a must-have during a crisis!
