Thanks for your comment. Clearly you haven't tried it. The roast is very even - the end result shown still has chaff in it. If you had ever roasted coffee yourself, you would find that the chaff does not darken like the beans. Regarding the popper - also a very effective way of roasting evenly - however at 100g at a time vs half a kg in the oven ..... we have used both methods and they both work well.

yikes! I'd rather spend $15 on a cheap corn popper... This looks very labor intensive!!!
