I was almost sobbing at the end....actually i was and then i started spazing out at the chance of baby inuyashas!!!!! :) but honestly just thinking about it again makes me soo sad to think its over i think i may start crying again

My favorite episode is when Miroku's master is apparently about to die. Then they go to get that sacred sokki and they get drunk and Sango is like.. "Inu-yasha lets go kill Naroku. lets forget about that two timing monk *goes to kiss*." and then Kagoma is all like "sit sit sit sit sit" and then miroku is like try getting rid of the mist with your wind scaaaar!. "I'm....a...little....busy...r­ight...now" sit sit sit sit

One thing I found rather poignant about this episode was the fact that even Naraku's soul was saved.

He was pretty much the epitome of evil. He manipulated everyone, killed his own incarnations, tricked those that loved each other into hating each other, and would never get his own hands dirty unless it was absolutely necessary.

A true villain.

Yet, as the Jewel dissipated, he appeared to have finally found some peace.

Even the most wicked aren't beyond saving.

A great series finale.

Well what i think it is, was at the end you realize the true evil was the jewel. it was so desperate to keep living. I think naraku was spared because his actual wish on the jewel was a simple wish. He wanted the woman he loved, but instead the jewel used him. Its a bit religious really, but I guess in his last seconds, he repented and was forgiven. So yeah, I was happy. I actually smiled.

you're not the only one i watered up as well.i came on looking 4 a review on the final act to see if some1 else shared my sentiment and here you are.i was unexpectedly touched and satisfied with the ending. there were other touching moments during the series but i was expecting final act 2 end abruptly as do many other animes.seshomarou's hard & mysterious character was also well preserved i liked that a lot.his attachment 2 rin always captivated me. im glad they showed more of him in final act

When they kissed i thought i was dreaming. I just couldnt believe it...I'm still shock. After an hour of jumping up and down i cried like a baby. It was just so beautiful....I'll love Inuyasha for the rest of my life!

I'll admit.....I cried, too.....but a very awesome ending, although I never read the manga's ending. The ending was also fun, seeing the kids of Maroku and Sango. Especially loved the "Big Brother" line from Kagome....Hilarious!!!!

Inuyasha and Kagome didn't kiss in the manga (which is why I didn't like the last episode much)...I actually don't support InuKik at all btw. I do support InuKag, but I'm a MUCH bigger MirSan fan, which is the reason I LOVED the last episode not TOTALLY following the manga ending.

I didn't like Koga marrying Ayame though. It kind of made the ending WAY to 'happily-ever-after' for me

Inuyasha was the first anime I ever watched and it will always hold a special place in my heart

@Orga19 ... Well, Koga is kinda a seriously annoying character... he served his purpose... he was the "rival"... and well it would have been fine for me just to see him running around with his brothers... thats about all i kinda expected
