Found the cassette of this album by accident at MusicPlus when I was 15 due to We Built This City and Sara. I immediately bought it and listened to ALL the songs, and fell in love with this song. Thanks for uploading this fab song!
This is such a great song. Thank you so much for posting these. Mickey Thomas was my biggest crush as a teen. I'm 40 and, thanks to YouTube, I'm falling all over again.
I never in my life since 88,89 `before i was born , it had a lot of meaning to this song before i met him in 1988.....still have love of my past!!!!!!!:)
Very beautic but rare tune. I'm a huge 80s fan but never heard this until now. There's no video available either. Looks like it's so underrated that even Starship themselves didn't bother to make a video of it
Could never quite figure out why this didn't do better on the charts. I guess the album had lost its commercial momentum when the previous single didn't do that well. Great song, strong vocals.
Starship is a great band! This album is one of their best. They don't make music like this anymore. These 80's ballads had so much heart and soul behind them. Brings back memories and you feel lost in time when you listen to this music. Time goes too fast.
I was so relieved to find this, been trying to download it for years, it's rare. Thanks for doing this, first time I've ever thanked someone for an upload, heh. I dedicated this song once to a love that never happened, means a lot to me. To this day, I think the only girl I ever really loved...
My boy, it was 86, this one, A-ha's "Take on Me" and Alphaville's "Forever Young", all made me think about such pop songs that stay forever in my mind...
My favorite song from this album. Iremember hearing this song during my college freshman year in the spring of 87 at SHSU. You can almost hear the hurt and emotion in his voice as he begs his lover to reconsider before she walks out of his life. I think we've all been there before. You can tell he gets very emotional at 1:56. Great song.
Great tune, 2nd best on the Album tho... Tops belongs to "Sara".

Dunno if this tune is a ballad as such. It seems too fast. Usually ballads are around the 60 - 90 bpm marker.

still a great tune. However, I think Grace was very under-used in this album.

Just a great song, i believe this is their best album, not a very popular tune, maybe that´s what makes it so special

Some of the best love songs involve getting dumped, David Coverdale - Whitsnake - The Deeper the Love, comes to mind lol...

i've always liked this one as well, not in the usual form of most songs. But then they as a band were not like most bands either :)
