I love this movie, and I totally identify with the characters and their lives, because I live in a place similar to that, and don't really know many other "goth" people, and the ones I might are just stuck up douche bags who think they're better than everyone.
@Goldfrappe I'm friends with a few goths, and they are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. I personally am not goth, but that doesn't stop me from befriending all types of people. No one should ever be judged for who they are. I honestly hate stereotyping people.
@Jandieee I agree, and I totally didn't mean it that way. I just meant that the people that I've met in the city I live in that have dressed like that particular style of dress or music or culture have either come across, or have personally interacted with me in a way as to make me feel as though they were pompous and arrogant. I know that not all "goth" people are stuck-up, and I don't think they're all that way either. I've just met people who presented theselves as "goth" that were mean.

But I've noticed that within most subcultures or groups or "scenes"; that there's always people who take it to the extreme and think that they invented the style, and think that no one else is allowed to like that style but them, so they look down upon everyone else, and call them posers. I think some people just have that disposition of insecurity to be extremely pompously arrogant.

I wish I knew people like them. Theres barely a hint of a goth here and people are just ignorant to what they dont understand in my area.
