@bradleythekid At the time I was studying with Barry Perkins, principal trumpet of the Pacific Symphony. I'm much more of a "legit" player than a lead player. I've been studying with Dave Scott at the University of Redlands for the last four years.

Yes, we were very fortunate to have both the financial resources and a director that wanted to expose us to top-tier professionals.

@karv92 Yeah, the school definitely had to pay him. I'm not sure on the exact amount but it was in the thousands. Guys as in demand as Wayne don't usually do pro bono gigs.
