I wonder if they ever come to the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I would love to go see them in person. From a distance, to an untrained eye some of them may pass for female ballerinas. It looks like some do combination male & female parts all mixed on to pointe. They were very amusing and not at all tacky. I would definately pay to see them in person

So much fun when the Trocks truly outdo their female counterparts (as they so often do--how many female ballerinas can throw a few double tours en l'air into their fouettés, which are already peppered with tricks most females can't achieve?). @MiSAamAn3 That variation is originally from the ballet "Le Pavillon d'Armide" but it's also used in "Paquita". If you want to find the music, most recordings call it simply "Paquita: Variation 5 - Allegro non troppo"

They're so brilliant! I went to see them four times when they were playing in Marseille a couple of years ago. They are the proof that classical ballet can be beautiful without being pathetic!

Compare these guys' pointe work (dancing on toes) to any of the famous ballerinas, and you'll see their technique is equal to and, at times, superior to many female dancers. The male strength and robustness these guys bring to pointe work is refreshing. You wanna see real fags, watch the NFL. BTW, I am a straight female.

I saw the Trocks last Friday & they were so good I had to go on the Sat. as well. I love 'proper' ballet, but these guys were somethin else - fantastic and hugely funny. After seeing their 'Dying Swan' (a ballet I love) I shall never be able to take the 'proper' one seriously again - theirs was so brilliant. I went to their rehearsal too, and you just wouldn't have believed that some of the guys could dance.

Ballet Trockadero is AMAZING! to the person who left the comment about how they are ridiculing girls...wtf!? They're beautiful dancers, doing what they love and they're fantastic at it! They're a professional company and a great one at that! It almost makes me wish that I were a guy so that I could be a part of this company someday! lol!
