This book was magnificent I just got finished reading it all in one day and I loved it so much. Jay asher did awesome with this book it opened my eyes in so many ways that I can't even describe it its so moving and so well written.

Can someone explain the last part to me, when Clay yells out "Skye" cause i didnt really get that part....but it was a truly good book

Clay realizes that Skye, who changed her appearance suddenly, who distanced herself from anyone, who barely talks...may be going down the same path as Hannah. By going after her and reaching out, he feels hope because while he may not have been able to stop Hannah's suicide, he may be able to prevent Skye's.

This book had a good idea but a weak plot this guy has a lot of potential and I'm sure his later work will be even better. You can really connect to the characters. You'll love the ending I did! (Not the very ending it left you hanging but when it gets to the 13th reason!]

Omg I have to disagree lol. I think Jay Asher did a great job portraying a character's emotions through audio tapes without it being from her actual point of view. And the idea of audio tapes in general is a really unique and creative idea.

Yea like when a friend of mine told me about this book I was like "great, a book about a stupid girl who does not know what life is really like", but then when I read it, I could not sleep at night D= I mean, we all have been told life is always worth living no matter what, but....Hannah's story...it so sad because you can feel that suicide was her only option even though you do not want her to die T-T So yea I can actually feel myself become a better person after reading this
