Overall I do like this game, but boss fights like this ruin it so much. To me, if you want to have pointlessly, stupidly, not-at-all-fun hard boss fights like this they need to be optional, not required for the story. It looks like the only reason you won here is you were lucky enough to make Young waste a lot of his Brawls on Namul Niram.

With the Rush+Zolean union combo i do bout 30,000 dmg. Plus Megaleus 15,000 i could kill him but im scared of brawl.

he wasnt that hard for me. but i was lucky enough to use namu narim on the first turn to distract him while i took down his other units.after they were dead i just sent in 1 fighter and 1 person stayed behind to revive the unit that was killed the previouse round.

@bownchikawowwow, Young is an annoying boss to contend with due to Brawl spamming, fighting him with only a battle rank of 62 is 90% suicidal. I had trouble with him at battle rank 85, but after that my unions weren't 1 hit ko'd anymore.

A tip for mitigating the damage done by Brawl, have a union with 3 or less units deadlock Young, as Brawl is an AOE it deals damage to every unit in that union, so less units the less damage.

When you beat the last boss u get a big surprise too. :)

after loosing to this guy like 10 times i have noticed two things:

1. he uses Brawl at the end of every turn, but only if he is deadlocked with another union.

2. Brawl will deal a small ammount of damage more than your union has hp remaining (for me he's hit as low as 200 - still killing me).

Hey. I have tried doing base 5 and have failed, quite alot. I have completed every single base except this one. I currently have 3 battle unions, union 1 and 3 at 3.2k HP and union 2 at 3K HP. My Battle rank is 62 and i just can't seem to beat young. My leaders are Rush/Torgal, Pagus/David and Emmy/Irina, the combo has worked quite good on all other bases but young I can't seem to beat.

If you have any tips/advice to help me beat young and move onto the main base itself, I will be very grateful

You say this is the hardest boss in the game? You have got to be kidding me, this guy was probably the 3rd hardest boss in koeningsdorf and then i'm being generous about it, you only have to get your rank up enough by doing sidequests or guild tasks, although i had atleast 4k+ health on my weakest union when i faced him.

You cannot give your leaders weapons, they can only uppgrade their existing ones into newer better ones as far as i know by getting the items they request.

@RebornJade actually you can give emmy the weapon you get from the base with the twins.and you can give david a sword from this base.

I hate this guy. I was able to use Blackout III first turn and knock out those annoying squads, but of course Young just uses Brawl and kills all of my unions. Not to mention I have Vivification herb and Kiss of Life for pretty much every leader but no one uses it. One question though, how are your party members' weapons so upgraded and your arts so low?

For Young if you stock three units with a character who can lower morale it can help this fight go a bit more smoothly because if your morale is completely gone when he uses brawl it will instantly kill but if its still blue it means your unit most likely won't die.

She will ask you come to numor mine [it auto travel to numor mine btw] just do the rest, u will gets Namul Niram at the end. Namul Niram will be Emmy's summon

At one time i thought that fight was impossible to finish. My BR was 90 so this guy was kickin my ass. i had to change mi union so i got blackhole on the first turn. The rest was attackin and barely surviving.

You acquire it when your leader has Spark V then 3 other members in your group must know any other form of Invocation. Then they must use them all at the same time. Then you use Blackout. To upgrade Blackout you need to improve many mother spells such as Permafrost Grenade Impact ETC.
