i would not play flute...didnt want to be bald...so i play piano and guitar..but i was a good flute player back in the day

now i am an old fart but i have more hair then most geezers my age...big deal...i am broke and a mega loser

I think his voice now is much better than he had back in 80s.. But of course 70s Jethro Tull was the best.. They still rock.. JTULL FOREVER..

Why do everybody have a beef about his voice? Nobody who´s sixty can be as good singer as he was thirty years ago, that´s of course. But sings still well.

Jethro came twice to Costa Rica. First time, Ian was sitting on a wheel chair, but insisted on playing!

That's a real musician, a man that really loves music and has taken rock and roll to newer heights.

Yes, it was circa 1987-88 after they had won a Grammy in the heavy metal category for Crest of a Knave. I believe Metallica was one of the runners up.

They actually had a poster made that perceived the flute to be one, after they were awarded a Grammy in the Heavy Metal genre.
