  • I've come to admire his hatred.

  • Khan- Great Villain. Ricardo Montalbán- Great Actor. Wrath of Khan- Amazing movie. People wish they had a villain like Khan to fight against.

  • @Clonetrooperkev Khan's suppose to be the villain for the sequel to the 2009 Star trek movie

  • @MrMegas2 Bittersweet. But I feel like the plot will be based off of Space Seed more than Wrath of Khan.

  • @MrMegas2 Uhh... No he's not. Nobody has talked Khan in the script.

  • guess it easy to operate statships, even people from the 20th century can do it

  • @altha2008 If I remember right in Space Seed Khan requests copies of Enterprise's technical manuals. If he had those on Ceti Alpha V he could have taught himself and his followers the basics of operating a starship.

  • @aseriousman91 ok, I remember that now. or he may have brought it with him stuck on that planet for 30 years

  • quoting moby dick

  • Big bang rocks and so did this

  • How incredible was that. Damn... And I see it as great homage to Melville's genius as well.

  • Funny, that's exactly what Leno said about the Tonight Show.

  • live long and prosper ricardo, you were great

    DIE WILL WHEATON DIE!

  • @CescVanHenry hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • Revenge is a dish best served with pinto beans and muffins!

  • Simply badass.

  • Khan should be the villain for the next Stark Trek relaunch movie. Khan and Kirk are destined to face each other.

  • @dkupke Maybe then they can finally have the fight everyone wanted to see in this movie.

  • @dkupke Why repeat??? No way....leave this classic alone people are too insatiable and just want to consume til there fucking heads explode...calm down and try to appreciate something for once.

  • @howyoudoin2. Does he fuck say it better

  • "He Tasks me....

He Tasks me and I shall have him.

I'll Chase him around the moons of Nebia, round the Antaris maelstrom, And round perditiion's Flames before I give him up....."

    CLASSIC!

  • sheldon says it better

  • Khan now he's a good dad guy.

  • I say this whenever I chase down escorts that try to runaway from me in STO PvP.

  • Captain Khan Noonien Ahab!

  • Brilliant character. His quotes are my favorite.

  • Maybe it's hammy, but it always sends chills down my spine

  • @NikolaevGreg

it's hammy that it does that

  • Kahn is a badass.

  • Silence ! now fetsch me will wheaton !

  • @butcherben82 ahahaha

  • Just saw it quoted in Big Bang Theory

  • From Moby-Dick:

"He tasks me; he heaps me; I see in him outrageous strength, with an inscrutable malice sinewing it. That inscrutable thing is chiefly what I hate; and be the white whale agent, or be the white whale principal, I will wreak that hate upon him."

"and I'll chase him round Good Hope, and round the horn, and round the norway maelstrom, and round perdition's flames before I give him up."

  • yeah Khan said it better

  • @thatjohnkydd ..no...he didn't.

  • @thatjohnkydd Well, more succiently. And with some updates so it all makes sence in a space setting (talking about the Norway Maelstrom and the Cape of Good Hope when you're in space just doesn't work).

  • @thatjohnkydd No you just can't read.....

  • @krosero Nah, he didn't say it better.....but Ricardo Montalban said it in a way that made a scene-stealing ham like William Shatner seethe with envy.

Shatner in the dressing room afterward......"MY SCENE!!!! THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY SCENE. MON-TAL-BANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!". And that little tirade later gave Nicholas Meyer an idea about reshooting a scene.

God Damn, revisionist history is fun.

  • You told me a while ago, about the fact it was "Montablan's own chest," and I was like okay fair enough. Then "stolendata" replied to me, claiming it was a chest piece. So I was like okay who to believe, which I sent to him. Strangely enough you replied to me again, trying to put me straight. Maybe you should have explained to "stolendata" who after all is the one claiming his chest is fake.

  • Yeah and my comment was in reply to the other person

  • What ever you say, you replied to me thats all

  • To tell you the truth, It must be quite Important If you yourself replied to my comment, when I replied to "stolendata" and used your name, just to see what he'd say back. He sent me that particular comment, I actually kinda expected him to reply back.

  • just a great little speech

  • no, his pecks were pretty small (but well-defined) - there are countless pictures of him in "speedo poses" if you just google. he did not have an elongated chest like that.

he wears a chest-piece identical to that of the guy on the right. the chest-piece has a completely different skin-tone, with a pink'ish tint. have you no eyes?

  • From hell's heart, I stab at thee...

  • Shocking, do you know if he is still alive?

  • Khan's pecks bulge too much, is he wearing some kind of body front thing? its the necklace he wears, cant see if theres any kind of prosthetic attached underneath.

  • yes, it's a chest-piece. same as the guy on the right is wearing.

  • Now I am confused, "CallumJStewart" told me differently. Oh, who to believe....

  • YES! i agree, this is the best line in the movie. you really get a grasp of the extent of Khan's obsession here.

i'm not sure what Herman Melville would say, but i'd hope he'd be blown away by all the Moby Dick allusions and references in the movie

  • im absolutely sure he would, the book went nowhere until after his death. poor guy wrote a cornerstone of American literature and only lived long enough to see it descend into obscurity after its release. "wrath of khan" in all reality is little more then an om age to the book

love the book, adore the movie.
