yes it is. it means 'lacking in morality.' for example, 'the amoral stockbroker scammed money out of his unsuspecting elderly clientele.' immoral means 'wicked, indecent.' for example, 'the adulterous wife was condemned by the townspeople for her immoral conduct with the town's preacher.' amoral means 'no scruples' and immoral mean 'devious, wicked, wrong'
