My DT was actually planned as OT/DPS hybrid, though I still cannot banish the idea of main tanking an instance from my mind :] Think I'll have to see it all myself, since forum posts are ranging from "DT's are a no-dps class" to "Gonna rock all damage statistics!!11", same for tanking. Level 51 atm, so there's still a bit of experience ahead :)

Spec tank= great tank
Spec DPS= great DPS
Spec AoE= very fun.

actually DTs just don't rule as much atm ;) btw that toon was 4 level above the boss, so it was not a real challenge :P

yea i found out that they are quite lacking DPS! tough they are a must have in instances!

DT endgame DPS in raids is very neat. DTs can't really tank in the endgame but that doesn't really matter if you can top the DPS :)

Next patch lowers our mana costs and reduces casting time of Soul Barrier to 1 second.
It doesn't really fix anything important but makes playing a bit better. We still can't tank in endgame though :)
