I tried this and it works. However, can you explain why it immediately fails to work if I tie the crystal to a doorknob rather than hold the string myself?

Why does it instantly fail to work as soon as I remove the labels from canned food? I think just like dowsing, it is a subconscious thing you are doing with your hands.

Test yourself. Get two cans, one with good food and one with bad food. Test your powers. Then take the labels off, can you still detect what is inside?

I feel like quartz crystals give me the strongest most accurate results, but I've used all different kinds of rocks and even the nut from a bolt threaded on curtain cord.

Erik- my crystal seemed to know what to do from the beginning so I didn't have to train it. It does take practice though to get comfortable with the process. For cleaning you can put it outside overnight in the full moon, according to my ND. Good luck!

Yeah you programmed the crystal because you know in your mind what you wanted it to do.

I really believe in the energy stones have and abilitiets so im very comfortable with it :)

It seems with the crystal i use , that with food thats not really healthy it really doesnt stop spinning ( doesnt feel nice on the wrist) and with good food like what you said .
