You have to watch the whole thing, I have a different opinion than what I have seen on the web, but I think the white guy wanted more at 1st but the doorman was still struggling and he would push the white guy away but then would come for sex, so this scene, the white guy is physically doing to the doorman( by pushing him away then pulling him in and kissing him) what the the doorman was doing emotionally, I think that is why he had the druggies over, to get back at him

There's a lot missing from this story which makes it hard to follow. I give this story a 3/5 for plotlines and a 4/5 for sex scenes. I like it, but I've seen much better, even for short films.

can't we move on from storylines that can only deal with homosexuality in terms of demented, self-loathing, destructive, creepy relationships? what can anyone learn from a film such as this other than Gay men are truly disturbed-both individually and collectively? Brokeback Mountain was also written by a woman. And the story was also rather melodramatic. I dont think its envy, its rather a colourful perception of relationship between men. Or maybe a projection of their own heterosexual relationships on homosexual ones. But you have to agree that these miseries are very much part of many lives. There are other stories that are more constructive. Watch Maurice, based on a real story.
I have to say it's refreshing to read such a considered and intelligent response! Seeing that you're a female who is sexually attracted to guys, isn't it more logical to be turned on by two guys, rather than a guy and a girl? You get two instead of one. :D Also, there are different types of media with homosexual themes targeted primarily at female audience which, too, explains that females find it quite much attractive.

There is no such thing as an exclusive bottom, only those who are biologically or psychologically impotent, too small, or in the best case transsexuals who are disgusted by their own penis and its use.
There are no such things as exclusive tops, only pathetic scared little virgins, who fear that being penetrated will emasculate them. The doorman is a good example. Both are the childish imitations of heterosexual gender roles, and as such, pitiful.

What I was trying to say here in a very simplistic language, that unlike sexual orientation, these role games, are not based on a biological codification, thus they are the product of a socialising process. That is, they are changeable and in the end they do change, if not in a persons life, then from generation to generation, and from more closed cultures to more open cultures.
And as playing an exclusive role is anthropologically equal to cutting half of your possibilities away, as a sexual strategy is inefficient. Sexual strategies develop in an inefficient direction only when survival is at stake, or when the socialising pressure of the normative of the community an individual lives in is too great to resist. For example in societies that are more mediaeval in their perception of sexuality like Turkey people think that there are only tops and the bottoms.
This role play has its origin in the identity development process during our adolescence. And it has almost nothing to do with our freedom to chose what we like and what we dont like. Our sexual identity depends majorly on two authority icons, either our parents or a replacement. In the case of the so called tops, it has also to do with peer pressure in macho cultures. In the case of bottoms, it has to do also with physical aspects, impotency, and often trans-sexuality.
That is partially true, but I think saying all exclusive bottoms impotent and transgendered, is far from the truth. In reality, the male g-spot is more stimulated by bottoming than by topping so it makes perfect sense as to why some men would be eclusive bottoms. Just because someone prefers to bottom doesn't mean that they're "disgusted by their own penis and its use."
The ones that are usually disgusted by their penis and its use are usually people who identify as females, that is they are transgender. Its not only about biological impotency but also psychological one.
The prostate is a highly sensitive spot, I agree, but this fact those not change the basic truth that the penis is still functionally the main sex organ for a male. Like I said previously, my comment might seem essentialist, but reality speaks for itself.
Your comments about the sexual roles among gay men are really off the wall. Saying that gay men need to have sex both ways and belittling those who have their own sexual preference kinda makes you sound prejudiced. This last comment of yours further displays that. Well, I guess some need to hear the obvious in a rather simple language to actually comprehend it. Intolerant? Thats absurd! Ive always wondered, if your sexual identity is made up of a heterosexual male role, why dont you instead have sex with partners that lack penises from the beginning? If he cant function as a male with you, why do you even waste your time with humans who happen to have penises? In many cultures, ancient and present so called exclusive tops were not even considered homosexual, just heterosexuals with a strange taste. Maybe thats why.
Indeed cultural values and expectations often play a role. To be gay means one is attracted to members of the same sex emotionally as well as physically. Therefore some can be same sex attracted and not desire to "be the girl" so to speak. There are many men attracted to men who never have anal sex at all. Sexuality is a combination of emotional and sexual desire and is expressed in many different ways.
Not having anal sex at all is one thing, one that limits the number of potential partners: Not wanting to play the role of the girl as you put it, but wanting the other person to play the role of the girl exclusively, is another thing. Im looking at this issue from a gender studies point of view. And I see the role of a top very much in the same light as the entire heterosexist patriarchal role model. Not a pretty picture in my opinion.
@itbarthur4u I've mentioned the fact that some gay men do not have anal sex and nobody ever seems to believe me. I think it would be interesting to see if men that do take pleasure in anal sex have any drastic anatomical differences than men who choose not to partake in anal sex.

Brokeback Mountain was also written by a woman. And the story was also rather melodramatic. I dont think its envy, its rather a colourful perception of relationship between men. Or maybe a projection of their own heterosexual relationships on homosexual ones. But you have to agree that these miseries are very much part of many lives. There are other stories that are more constructive. Watch Maurice, based on a real story.

Seeing that you're a female who is sexually attracted to guys, isn't it more logical to be turned on by two guys, rather than a guy and a girl? You get two instead of one. :D Also, there are different types of media with homosexual themes targeted primarily at female audience which, too, explains that females find it quite much attractive.

I think its the controversy of it. There are some excellent gay themed movies out there too. Juste une question d'amour is one of my favourites and shelter is really good! There also seems to be a differentiation based on geographical and cultural regions. People who live, or grow up in less tolerant societies tend to adopt these roles much more stronger, and it takes them more time to get rid of the hetero-normative based behavioural patterns. For example in Turkey or Japan, gay people are perceived only as either top or bottom. And only the bottom is actually gay in their eyes. The top is hetero with a weird fetish. A rather primitive perception.

There is no such thing as an exclusive bottom, only those who are biologically or psychologically impotent, too small, or in the best case transsexuals who are disgusted by their own penis and its use.
There are no such things as exclusive tops, only pathetic scared little virgins, who fear that being penetrated will emasculate them. The doorman is a good example. Both are the childish imitations of heterosexual gender roles, and as such, pitiful.

Of course there are exclusive bottoms and tops. Just like there are men who like to do neither. It's just a sexual preference that some people are not willing to be flexible with. It's the same reason why some straight people (both men and women) don't like to give/recieve oral. It's simply a matter of preference.

What I was trying to say here in a very simplistic language, that unlike sexual orientation, these role games, are not based on a biological codification, thus they are the product of a socialising process. That is, they are changeable and in the end they do change, if not in a persons life, then from generation to generation, and from more closed cultures to more open cultures.

And as playing an exclusive role is anthropologically equal to cutting half of your possibilities away, as a sexual strategy is inefficient. Sexual strategies develop in an inefficient direction only when survival is at stake, or when the socialising pressure of the normative of the community an individual lives in is too great to resist. For example in societies that are more mediaeval in their perception of sexuality like Turkey people think that there are only tops and the bottoms.

This role play has its origin in the identity development process during our adolescence. And it has almost nothing to do with our freedom to chose what we like and what we dont like. Our sexual identity depends majorly on two authority icons, either our parents or a replacement. In the case of the so called tops, it has also to do with peer pressure in macho cultures. In the case of bottoms, it has to do also with physical aspects, impotency, and often trans-sexuality.

That is partially true, but I think saying all exclusive bottoms impotent and transgendered, is far from the truth. In reality, the male g-spot is more stimulated by bottoming than by topping so it makes perfect sense as to why some men would be eclusive bottoms. Just because someone prefers to bottom doesn't mean that they're "disgusted by their own penis and its use."

The ones that are usually disgusted by their penis and its use are usually people who identify as females, that is they are transgender. Its not only about biological impotency but also psychological one.
The prostate is a highly sensitive spot, I agree, but this fact those not change the basic truth that the penis is still functionally the main sex organ for a male. Like I said previously, my comment might seem essentialist, but reality speaks for itself.

I was not stating in any of my previous comments, that they cant do or they wont do what they do and how they do it is entirely up to them and those who are willing to be partners in these games. I kinda question if you are even gay, too. Ive always wondered, if your sexual identity is made up of a heterosexual male role, why dont you instead have sex with partners that lack penises from the beginning? If he cant function as a male with you, why do you even waste your time with humans who happen to have penises? Indeed cultural values and expectations often play a role. To be gay means one is attracted to members of the same sex emotionally as well as physically. Therefore some can be same sex attracted and not desire to "be the girl" so to speak. There are many men attracted to men who never have anal sex at all. Sexuality is a combination of emotional and sexual desire and is expressed in many different ways.

Not having anal sex at all is one thing, one that limits the number of potential partners: Not wanting to play the role of the girl as you put it, but wanting the other person to play the role of the girl exclusively, is another thing. Im looking at this issue from a gender studies point of view. And I see the role of a top very much in the same light as the entire heterosexist patriarchal role model. Not a pretty picture in my opinion.
