Laurie Cabot has been such a powerful force for Witches, Pagans and most of the charities in Massachussetts which is why the Governor apppointed her as the official Witch. Her store provides top quality products for the community at rates far below anywhere else so the idea that some people here put forth that she is profiteering is utter nonsense. Stores like hers are a resource to our community and to the Magickal artists whose work she helps to sell.

First time I saw Laurie Cabot was on the Phil Donahue show. I was around 11 or 12. Very eloquent. I think I'll try to look up it up after I write this. Knowing she does not represent the whole of wicca, nor the whole pagan community, she is a part thereof. Anyone who lives according to their beliefs out in the open, no matter how objectionable, should be commended at the very least of having the courage to follow their heart and not be sheep.

The self-professed "Official Witch of Salem" (despite the fact that there are hundreds of witches in Salem), this woman is just begging for attention. She wanders Salem, Massachusetts on a day-to-day basis in a long black robe, which she claims is traditional Wiccan garb, back from before the Burning Times. She's another big believer in quick fix magic (all you need for a good parking space is to visualize it before you enter the lot).
