I've played BF1942, BF2 and now this BF:BC, I have to say BF:BC is by far the best dispite only being for console, the graphics are pretty nice and the maps are absolutely huge and the addition of conquest made it a bit better. I agree that Frontlines is a great game too but it isn't as popular.
The only thing I get annoyed by in BF:BC is sometimes 95% of both team are sniping on some maps, it gets ridiculous and all you hear is "enemy sniper on the horizon" every 2 seconds.
Well I know many people like BF2, I've had problems with BF2 like patches and crappy glitches and it only runs on 1 of my PCs which is my main one, it won't run on my other 2 PCs nor the laptop (it crashes and closes). I guess that alone keeps me from liking BF2 enough.
As I Cant find anywhere to speak to DIce about this i will say it here. EA need to hurry the f.u.c.k. up with COnquest mode, I have been waiting everyday and checking the website and its still comming "SOON". GIVE ME A RELEASE DATE AT LEAST, This is like waiting for xmas when your about 5 years old for me. Gold crteat mode is soooooooooooooo long after youi have played each map 100's of times. Anyway EA, plz hurry with Conquest before i rip my own hair out!
Kurozuguchi, This game on multiplayer is ok, but isnt up there with the likes of Frontlines Fuel of War (which is one of the best multiplayer games available for consoles)
Also I believe this is on PC not 360, as demo only 3 weeks old on 360.
jimbob, just because I made the video doesn't mean I like the game. :-) The original Battlefield 2 on PC kills this game, and Frontlines IMO. I'm not really too fond of Bad Company, to be honest.
Also, this is the XBox 360 beta (not demo). This game isn't coming to PC, just 360 and PS3. The beta was out almost 3 months ago on 360, I recorded this the first day it was available.
Don't remember the exact model number without checking it, but it's a 52" Mitsubishi 1080p HDTV. Obviously it looks way better in person than this YouTube video, recorded through a camcorder. LOL.

I've been faced with similar dilemmas many times. I have a gaming PC, a 360, a PS3, and a Wii. And often when a game is on multiple platforms, my biggest decision isn't what game to buy, but WHAT PLATFORM to buy it for.
Do what I do and get the games for whatever platform your buddies have too. It's way funner playing with your friends you know online than with random people. IMO.

I have both consols. PS3 is the best, has hte most coming out fo rit(there is ALOTTTTTT coming to the Playstation Network this year..also all the Exclusives)
Xbox only has Gears 2. PS3 has MGS4, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, LBP, FF 13, and so many more.
PS3 is the better console. If you're poor and don't own one that's your problem. Xbox 360 isn't that great. It same 3-4 games that are named over and over are overrated, and Bioshock is coming to the PS3 this year... iwth alot more content.
Gears of war 2, forza motorsport, mass effect, gears of war, and all the previous games that looked much better on the 360. Bioshock is not overrated, it is a superb game.ahh, and i almost forgot. PC RULES THEM ALL!!!! SUCK FANBOYS!!!

to set all your games to display in 1080p go to your TV settings on your xbox 360 dashboard and change the options. AZSTATEisGAY it doesnt matter how many grenades and tube rounds you get youll always have to fire bullets in a battlefield game no matter what :)
It's a Mitsubishi 52" 1080p HDTV, but I think the game itself is displayed in 720p? Not too many games do full 1080p. I'm not quite sure, but I really think it was 720p.
BF2 on the PC is one of the greatest online games in my own opinion. sure CoD4 has graphics on a completely different level but it lacks vehicles. I'd definately prefer to do my own airstrikes than have a computer do it for me ;)

If a REAL Battlefield came to consoles, it would DESTROY CoD4. But yeah, this one won't. This game, Battlefield: Bad Company is a poor man's Battlefield 2. If the real Battlefield 2 had come to consoles (not that crappy Battlefield 2: Modern Combat), then Battlefield games would be hugely popular on consoles.
It took a while for Call of Duty to catch on too. The original was PC exclusive, it began on PC just like Battlefield. When CoD2 launched on 360, that's when it got popular on consoles.

Besides, I have every console (XBox 360, PS3, and Wii) and love them all. If I didn't have ALL of them, I would have missed some amazing exclusive games last year (Mass Effect on 360, Uncharted on PS3, Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy on Wii). Plus, I have a gaming PC that also brought me some of the best exclusive games last year. Crysis, Quake Wars, World in Conflict, Stalker, The Witcher, etc. I love ALL platforms.

i played crysis. and it definately was not what i was expecting. the singleplayer campaign was really hard. and i found that people on buy it for the graphics..there are some cool aspects of it though. but other than that it just has good graphics. this game will be a better shooter in my opinion. And one more question. How do you get the Beta???
The graphics are great in Crysis, but people who buy the game just for that are DUMB. Crysis is an amazing game, with splendid shooter gameplay. See my Crysis VS Call of Duty 4 video for a look at how different the two games really are.
At any rate, this game Battlefield: Bad Company doesn't even come close to Crysis. Certainly not graphically, but who cares. It doesn't match it in GAMEPLAY either. This Beta is boring, you're better off NOT getting it.
How am I biased? I have extensively played all of the games I am talking about, I'm giving my OPINION. Bias is like a "Sony fanboy" or "Microsoft fanboy" or "Nintendo fanboy". Biased people support one system or genre, they blindly praise one game while blasting another.

I wouldn't, the vehicles are very unresponsive. It feels like they just don't want to work. And if your looking for a game like BF: BC, then Crisis is NOT what you want. Is say just wait 4 BF: BC.
Actually, Crysis is FAR better than BF:BC. It's not even close. Battlefield: BC is also a complete JOKE compared to Battlefield 2 and Quake Wars. But yes, Crysis is more of a single player game, and awesome in that regard. For multiplayer, go with Quake Wars IMO. Battlefield: Bad Company sucks.

I keep waiting for a battlefield 3(or such) for pc, Bf2's graphics are dated, but it is still so fun and still kills any console FPS. Nice vid though! Also what kind of TV you playing it on?
It is a 52" Mitsubishi that has 2 HDMI, DVI, and 2 Component inputs and does 1080p. Great TV, no complaints. Obviously it looks WAAAY better than this in real life ha ha.
Did you watch the whole video? There is some pretty cool helicopter stuff and scenes of some driving and riding in the back of a vehicle. Really there isn't much new here that Battlefield fans won't already be familiar with, anyway.
Anyway, the next PC Battlefield will be Battlefield 3. Not the same game.
Probably moreso than in Bad Company, actually. Don't forget, PC is much more powerful than any console. Crysis is currently the most advanced game out there and it has more environment destruction than Bad Company. So I would be shocked if Battlefield 3 didnt trounce Bad Company in the technical aspects.

The only reason that Crysis isn't for the Console was because Crytek want to show that PC is still the best to play FPS and the only problem that Crysis chouldn't work on the consoles was because the consoles didn't had enough ram "System Memmory".
well have you played crysis?? unless you have THE BEST kind of PC with at least geforce8500 or better, crysis wont go over a few frames per second and you've gotta run it at a really low res. with all the anti-aliasing and EVERYTHING at the lowest level. so unless you have a SERIOUSLY expensive PC then the 360 or PS3 will kick the snot out of it man.
so your comment about "PC is much more powerful than any console" is very much false. what kind of PC has three CPUs that actually can do two things at once, each?!? the most advanced PCs only have quad core now, and most games dont even support it. crysis probably does. i dont know, ive only played the demo. but the amount of destruction displayed here is possible with crysis, but you would have to have an insane computer with a really low res. to enable it if you want over 0.5 fps.

Of course, it's still YouTube, so unless you get the GOOD video off of MegaUpload (I put my Crysis VS CoD4 video on MegaUpload) then the quality still won't come close to the real thing.
Besides, even a medium end PC can run games like CoD4 and Bioshock at max settings, and look at reviews. They ALL say the PC version has the best graphics. IGN said about CoD4:

actually I do own somewhat of a gaming PC. however you're going in a different direction than i thought. it sounded like you were saying that any PC could demolish any console, hands down (power-wise). when in fact you were talking about the games themselves. i can't argue with that. there's no doubt that the games can be much more on PC. but i was just saying that for crysis your gonna need one hell of a computer to run it at max settings.
Yeah, ha ha. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Obviously a PC with a below average CPU, video card, and either too little RAM or just bad quality RAM is going to get killed by the 360 and PS3.
But a high end PC with a top notch video card (8800 Ultra), awesome CPU (Core 2 Duo or Quad), and 4 GB of DDR2 or DDR3 RAM is going to SCHOOL both systems. Obviously it depends on the game too. Consoles are cheaper and run everything the same for everyone and I love them. I was just making a point.
HAH well i dont think many PCs have those specs these days yet. I'm running a 8500GT with 3GB ram. quad core. and i can BARELY run crysis. theres no way i can do full screen with it (my monitor is 1920x1200) the only way to up some of the settings a bit is to do windowed 720p or lower for me. and i know there is better, but the 8500GT is still a VERY good video card. but even the demo looked better than any 360 game ive played by far. the amount of trees and plants and shading was above the 360.
Sorry, it's not on PC. It's a console exclusive (and you can totally tell too, unfortunately). If you are a PC gamer, just play Battlefield 2. It's still the best Battlefield game IMO.
Or if you want an awesome NEW multiplayer shooter that is BIG like a Battlefield game and has classes and objectives, go for Quake Wars.
quake war? my friend bought that, and he tried to play it, but (when I played it too) i can't get over the fact that it uses the original quake sounds. I HATE the chaingun noise. And it has terrible bullet lag.
Nah, the "destructable" stuff is really sketchy... Some things blow up, other things don't. Plus, I think they break along predetermined cracks and fall apart. It's not as cool in that aspect as people were hoping...
I dunno man, there was one game where I was just testing out. I'd say 90% of the stuff IS destructible, but not FULLY destructible, you know? Like the frames of houses and stuff, and tthose big cinder blocks that chip away but iirc never really fully go away.
Ha ha, I couldn't tell if people were getting them or not. Just like in the other Battlefield games, when people are ONE BULLET away from death, they choose to RUN from medics instead of get health, lol.

If a REAL Battlefield came to consoles, it would DESTROY CoD4. But yeah, this one won't. This game, Battlefield: Bad Company is a poor man's Battlefield 2. If the real Battlefield 2 had come to consoles (not that crappy Battlefield 2: Modern Combat), then Battlefield games would be hugely popular on consoles.
It took a while for Call of Duty to catch on too. The original was PC exclusive, it began on PC just like Battlefield. When CoD2 launched on 360, that's when it got popular on consoles.

battlefield bc is for concle only and crysis is not "scripted destruction" like bc is, and i hate the fact that gay ea is tryin to SELL YOU GUNS THAT U HAVE TO DOWNLOAD TO USE THEM INGAME FOR 60-70 BUCKS! they are pushin the tab... no one will want to play it if they have to pay just to get more guns... i like battlefield bc and battlefield all out kuz the freedom "sandbox" for it so i might just hang out runnin thru houses with tanks and artyin the crap out of my own bace :P

Besides, I have every console (XBox 360, PS3, and Wii) and love them all. If I didn't have ALL of them, I would have missed some amazing exclusive games last year (Mass Effect on 360, Uncharted on PS3, Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Galaxy on Wii). Plus, I have a gaming PC that also brought me some of the best exclusive games last year. Crysis, Quake Wars, World in Conflict, Stalker, The Witcher, etc. I love ALL platforms.

i played crysis. and it definately was not what i was expecting. the singleplayer campaign was really hard. and i found that people on buy it for the graphics..there are some cool aspects of it though. but other than that it just has good graphics. this game will be a better shooter in my opinion. And one more question. How do you get the Beta???

The graphics are great in Crysis, but people who buy the game just for that are DUMB. Crysis is an amazing game, with splendid shooter gameplay. See my Crysis VS Call of Duty 4 video for a look at how different the two games really are.
At any rate, this game Battlefield: Bad Company doesn't even come close to Crysis. Certainly not graphically, but who cares. It doesn't match it in GAMEPLAY either. This Beta is boring, you're better off NOT getting it.

How am I biased? I have extensively played all of the games I am talking about, I'm giving my OPINION. Bias is like a "Sony fanboy" or "Microsoft fanboy" or "Nintendo fanboy". Biased people support one system or genre, they blindly praise one game while blasting another.

Actually, Crysis is FAR better than BF:BC. It's not even close. Battlefield: BC is also a complete JOKE compared to Battlefield 2 and Quake Wars. But yes, Crysis is more of a single player game, and awesome in that regard. For multiplayer, go with Quake Wars IMO. Battlefield: Bad Company sucks.

It is a 52" Mitsubishi that has 2 HDMI, DVI, and 2 Component inputs and does 1080p. Great TV, no complaints. Obviously it looks WAAAY better than this in real life ha ha.

Did you watch the whole video? There is some pretty cool helicopter stuff and scenes of some driving and riding in the back of a vehicle. Really there isn't much new here that Battlefield fans won't already be familiar with, anyway.
Anyway, the next PC Battlefield will be Battlefield 3. Not the same game.

Probably moreso than in Bad Company, actually. Don't forget, PC is much more powerful than any console. Crysis is currently the most advanced game out there and it has more environment destruction than Bad Company. So I would be shocked if Battlefield 3 didnt trounce Bad Company in the technical aspects.

The only reason that Crysis isn't for the Console was because Crytek want to show that PC is still the best to play FPS and the only problem that Crysis chouldn't work on the consoles was because the consoles didn't had enough ram "System Memmory".

well have you played crysis?? unless you have THE BEST kind of PC with at least geforce8500 or better, crysis wont go over a few frames per second and you've gotta run it at a really low res. with all the anti-aliasing and EVERYTHING at the lowest level. so unless you have a SERIOUSLY expensive PC then the 360 or PS3 will kick the snot out of it man.

so your comment about "PC is much more powerful than any console" is very much false. what kind of PC has three CPUs that actually can do two things at once, each?!? the most advanced PCs only have quad core now, and most games dont even support it. crysis probably does. i dont know, ive only played the demo. but the amount of destruction displayed here is possible with crysis, but you would have to have an insane computer with a really low res. to enable it if you want over 0.5 fps.

Besides, even a medium end PC can run games like CoD4 and Bioshock at max settings, and look at reviews. They ALL say the PC version has the best graphics. IGN said about CoD4:
"...the PC build is head and shoulders above either console. With sharper textures, a higher resolution, and an overall clearer picture prevailing on the PC, this is the way to fully experience Infinity Ward's graphical prowess."
You obviously don't own a gaming PC, because no one who does argues this point.

actually I do own somewhat of a gaming PC. however you're going in a different direction than i thought. it sounded like you were saying that any PC could demolish any console, hands down (power-wise). when in fact you were talking about the games themselves. i can't argue with that. there's no doubt that the games can be much more on PC. but i was just saying that for crysis your gonna need one hell of a computer to run it at max settings.

Yeah, ha ha. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Obviously a PC with a below average CPU, video card, and either too little RAM or just bad quality RAM is going to get killed by the 360 and PS3.
But a high end PC with a top notch video card (8800 Ultra), awesome CPU (Core 2 Duo or Quad), and 4 GB of DDR2 or DDR3 RAM is going to SCHOOL both systems. Obviously it depends on the game too. Consoles are cheaper and run everything the same for everyone and I love them. I was just making a point.

HAH well i dont think many PCs have those specs these days yet. I'm running a 8500GT with 3GB ram. quad core. and i can BARELY run crysis. theres no way i can do full screen with it (my monitor is 1920x1200) the only way to up some of the settings a bit is to do windowed 720p or lower for me. and i know there is better, but the 8500GT is still a VERY good video card. but even the demo looked better than any 360 game ive played by far. the amount of trees and plants and shading was above the 360.

Sorry, it's not on PC. It's a console exclusive (and you can totally tell too, unfortunately). If you are a PC gamer, just play Battlefield 2. It's still the best Battlefield game IMO.
Or if you want an awesome NEW multiplayer shooter that is BIG like a Battlefield game and has classes and objectives, go for Quake Wars.

Nah, the "destructable" stuff is really sketchy... Some things blow up, other things don't. Plus, I think they break along predetermined cracks and fall apart. It's not as cool in that aspect as people were hoping...

I dunno man, there was one game where I was just testing out. I'd say 90% of the stuff IS destructible, but not FULLY destructible, you know? Like the frames of houses and stuff, and tthose big cinder blocks that chip away but iirc never really fully go away.
