the first few books, which i am a big fan of, i have to say that they would NOT work well on film if they were made one at a time. the best they could do would to cram them into one film because the books on their own are unfilmable.

the series of unfortunate events(for the ones who have read them) book the seventh...... the vile village .......... it made me cry on the part where klaus started crying and said that he just remembered that it was his 13th birthday and he spent it in jail......... his mother told him that once he turned 13 she will give him a little pocket dictionary...( i think) for him to keep ...... but u know she died ..... the whole series made me cry and laugh and pissed off at count olaf!!! i luved it!!

Ok, I love this series because it's unpredictable. But theres one thing I don't understand.

Ive read a biology on Mr. Snicket and it said that he was one of Beatrice's lovers, but she married Mr. Baudelaire. I now know who Jaques is...but who is Lemony Snicket and who is really the representer?

@skyrules177 Daniel Handler IS Lemony Snicket; he's just pretending to be a representer to keep the drama and mystery in his books. Jacques, Kit, and Lemony are siblings; Lemony loved Beatrice (Violet, Klaus, and Sunny's mom), but Beatrice thought Lemony had died and married Bertrand instead (hence why she would have named Violet "Lemony" had she been a boy). Lemony's niece is also named Beatrice (daughter of Kit).
