Not sure what your talking about on the first move. I go by the JKA teaching and every other Gojo-sho I can find on here does it the same way I just did it.

I didn't say "The first move", I said "At the start".
By which I meant technique numbers 4 and 9. The technique is Tate Shuto Uke (Vertical Knife Hand block, not Haiwan Uke (Back Hand block)
The FIRST technique is, indeed, Tate Uraken as you have performed it.

Marcus, I can tell by the kata that you have prepared more this one than Nijushiho, looks more solid, more grounded.
