This doesn't go into a lot of the technique for an armbar from guard, so I gave it a negative rating. This video doesn't show how to control the other person, and it likely wouldn't work on a resisting opponent. It's better to grip the arm from the tricept area, its better to chop the person down with your other leg to prevent them from raising out of it, etc (comments are short). I'm not trying to be a dick with the negative rating, but I like seeing good technique with a good explanation.
I like this Arm Bar from the guard (down), as mentioned in the video alot of people do not trap the arm in the sitting position and being a huge fan of MMA i have seen alot of fights go wrong from that aspect. ( There are many different variations of the arm bar and that of many other submissions as well, it is best to attempt the ones you are most comfortable with).
Could reach over with the right hand to his left elbow and pull the arm down and close 2 the body & secure with the left hand on his RT wrist. Left foot on his RT hip and push and pivot, which lowers his head & allows you to get you leg over his head a little easier. Forget the roll, flex and hear him tap the mat. I'm not saying this is "wrong", i just prefer another way.
