  • Oh wait, steampipe alley makes Sense now......

  • who would have guess he was gay?

  • @reh629 I said the same thing! LOL Missed that show!

  • Dear Home Of The GoodGuys, Yes! Ted Was the off camera on"Steampipe Alley"..sadly,Poor

Ted passed away after the show was cancelled in 1993.

  • @143AC At the time, he was also the staff announcer for WOR-TV back in the 70's and 80's doing the promos and stuff.

  • Love that intro! I used to watched it on Sunday mornings at 10 AM back in my day. They used to show WB cartoons during each segment. I missed that show. The announcer for this show was none other than WOR-TV staff announcer Ted Mallie.

  • @HomeoftheGoodGuys - He was indeed, although Mario always referred to him on-air as "Don Pardonmeo". :-)

  • Wow, I remember this from channel 9. Even at age 8, I figured he was coked up and gay.

  • I used to love this on Sundays, but i hardly remember any of the show! I do remember that a kid from my class said he was on it and i watched it all year and never saw him on! LOL

  • I hated"Three Sewer Monte"because it was little more than a toy and junk food giveaway.

  • Romper Room and Friends and Steampipe Alley were the 2 best shows on WWOR-TV.
