  • Queeeeen. lol :-D

  • Nice vid !

  • @koekelieke many thanks for the kind comments, but please remember that I was asked to play into this "flat back pack" from the black, but I would usually gone into this pack from the blue. please note that I have a red below the pack to aid me should I not get a good split. This is the only situation which I would play them open like this (with the security ball) which makes the shot much easier. There's nothing worse than opening a pack for your opponent by missing the black. cheers,K

  • Nice vid (: i learned it from you Thanks..

  • what kind of screw do you have to put on for it to go into the pack?

  • Hi there, in this case, I'm striking at about 5 o'clock on the cueball so as to loosen just a few reds, but I don't use too much power because there is another red just out of shot towards the camera & the nearest pocket. if you watch the video back, you will see me place it there, this type of shot can be a problem if you don't have an alternate red to play on.

you will be trusting to luck , this is a confidence shot, good luck...K

  • makes sense if ur guaranteed on a red, didnt see that ball. ur ok to go into them then if thats the case.. haha!

  • check side, not running side, its tougher to play it without the confidence.... this is not an ideal way to open a flat pack like this, id play to finish high on black and follow through off the cushion to break through the balls....u see how the white stops dead on contact? ud want serious pace and check side to burrow thru, very tough shot for amature players, pros make it look easy.. lol... im no pro by the way..

  • @Darragh62 yeah sounds fine. Though i have seen Ronnie play this shot but not crashing into them, but instead he cannons several free usually hitting one side of the pack so as to prevent cue ball sticking . Your way mentioned can be more reliable but also easier to miss the black too. Its a shot that must be played with no thought about white ball. What players usually do wrong is thinking too much white and forget to pot the black. Dont forget that the pro table cloths make this shot easier..

  • @jesusfreak1975 Yes you're quite right about the black in some way's, although in this video I have used the hardest pack you will ever come across "a flat back pack" normally I would open this pack from the blue . However, I was asked to show it this way , so that's what I have done.

If this method is used you must :

    A) make sure of the black.

    B) only play from the black if you have other reds to play on (as I have done) because If you fail ... well just don't fail. cheers,K

  • when using spin it tranfers onto the object ball so it does affect the object ball

  • it doesnt transfer , the white swings before it gets to the object ball

  • does
