I played A Link to the Past when I was 8 and loved it to death. This was my favorite song from the game and when I heard it on Brawl, it brought so many of those amazing memories back. I honestly think this is the best remix/rendition of the song out there, more modern of course, but still instills the adventurous hope the original did.

I noticed that the older zelda games are much more challanging than the newer ones, a link to the past and OoT are the hardest zelda games i ever played. Also the The legend of zelda 1 and 2 are nearly imposible!

they're still making the 2D Games I got the 4 sword adventure for the Gamecube and that was 2D even the Minish Cap on the Gameboy was 2D but then again almost every game on Gameboy is still 2D

Yea, but now they make Zelda games for Wii and DS, both of which are capable of 3-D graphics. The only new 2-D Zelda games that will come out in the future will be on the DS or some other future Nintendo handheld console.

The SNES version IS the Original this is only 3/4s as good as the SNES version. the orchestra version you can only hear some of the sound clearly.

I really don't understand what your saying man. Are you saying that polyphonic is the opposite of orchestrated??? The two versions are clearly different and not just because one is made using MIDI sounds and one is played by an orchestra. This one has a chilled mellow feel to it with lots of exotic flourishes and sounds. The original is more percussive and straight-forward with yes strong polyphonic chords and in the style of a march, much more exciting imo.

lol It's hailed as the greatest Zelda and sometimes top Nintendo game of all time. It's definitely not underrated. Many Nintendo fans agree with its rating while those like me who like top-down Zeldas more than 3D ones and recognize ALttP's amazing quality are brave enough to say OoT is overrated. Which, IMO, it is =P

i liked twilight princess, but there wasent enough to do, hyrule feild was big, but there were only 3 villages, and 2 actualy matterd, not enough to do!, oot was best, then alttp, then windwaker,(had lots to do, many maps to explore) then twilight princess, then majoras mask, in my opinion

The original will always be just that.... the original. But this remix actually adds a darker mood to the song. I actually get the feeling that this sound actually represents the dark atmosphere of the Dark World better than the original which was a little more adventurous/exciting(no doubt to stimulate gameplay). Its just my opinion on the matter, ive fallen in love with this remix.

Well I've never been one to support the "fast-paced" or "exciting" music to being the answer to enhance gameplay. Sure it makes sense, and often works, but I find that slower/dramatic music can offer just as much impact during fighting (to be general) sequences as your common up-beat selections. So this remix will be amazing to fight to, for me of course.
